Empty gestational sac at 6 week 6 days after FET of PGS tested embryo

I did a frozen transfer of PGS tested embryo on March 19.  My first beta on March 28 was very low (25). But it jumped to 177 three days later and then again to 418 two days later so my ultrasound was booked for April 17 (6 weeks 6 days).

At the ultrasound, they saw a gestational sac but only measuring 8mm (5.7 weeks size), possibly a yolk sac and no fetal pole.  I was told that this likely won't be a viable pregnancy.  I go back for another ultrasound next week.

I had a missed miscarriage last year at 9.5 weeks (no heartbeat) followed by two chemical pregnancies which led to doing IVF/PGS.  My husband and I are heart broken as we thought it would be different this time.

Did anyone experience anything similar? Does anybody have a success story they can share?
