Nervous about spotting

in December 2018 Moms
I noticed some brownish blood on toilet paper this morning and a few small clots. Of course I went into panic mode and started googling everything which says brown could mean old blood being pushed out from the placenta forming. I am 7 weeks 3 days and my first appt. is on friday morning. 
Im going to call my Dr. As soon as they open and I'm hoping they can see me today. Just feeling very sad and nervous right now.

    Thinking about you! I don't know if it helps at all but I have had bright red spotting all week. I am going through extra monitoring now but so far my hcg has continued to double. 
    I also had spotting with my son around 7/8 weeks from a sch and he is a happy healthy 2 year old! I hope you can get into your Dr soon to see what's going on!❤️

    @mckcak23 Thank you <3 ugh its just so scary to look down and see that. Ive heard of spotting through pregnancy. With my son i never experienced it so I am just praying this will all work out.

    @pinapplekittycrown I've read that spotting during pregnancy can be very normal but I can't say I wouldn't be equally as worried. Thinking about you and hoping you can get some reassurance today!

    @pinapplekittycrown I am actually going through the same thing this morning.  Hang in there.  Bright pink on the toilet paper and I'm super scared and waiting for my OB's office to open.  We are supposed to have our first ultrasound tomorrow morning...

    @pinapplekittycrownI'm sorry you're having to deal with this, I had brown spotting for 10 days and I know how nerve racking it can be. For what its worth my doctor told me brown spotting is generally not a cause for concern. Hang in there and keep us posted!

    @pinapplekittycrown I have heard that spotting is okay as long as it is not accompanied by cramping. I completely understand why you are worried, though. Fx for good news when you get ahold of your doctor’s office.

    @pinapplekittycrown I'm in your shoes. Been spotting/bleeding for 10 days now with clots. I have a sono in an hour to check my progress. I'll keep you in my thoughts and pray we both get good news ♡♡

    Of course the doctor's office said "It's normal!  Unless it gets worse, see you tomorrow for your scheduled appointment!"  Bah.  Not going to be able to focus AT ALL today.
