Fit Mom Friday! W/O 4.20

Hey there fit (or trying to be fit like me) mamas! What are your healthy goals for this week? Feel free to share healthy food plans, exercise plans, whatever you want!

    Eating wise my goals: I'm doing great on fruit, but I need to eat more leafy green veggies and veggies in general. Luckily, got a craving for spinach and kale this morning, so I'm buying some at the store. Also, going to try to incorporate smoothies into my diet to trick myself into drinking fruits and veg when nauseous. Oh, edited to add that I probably need more protein, since I've been having aversions to meat and eggs. I'll try to sneak some in somewhere, maybe cottage cheese?

    Fitness wise: keep getting 10k steps a day, keep walking 30-45 minutes on my lunch break, BE BETTER about my at home strength training (I keep forgetting to do it) and try to do 1-2x a week of more intense hill/interval walking on treadmill.

  • Food, I’m just going to keep doing what I’ve been doing. Lots And lots of veggies. I decided I’m not going to worry about my diet until my first appointment, and then my OB can tell me what to do there. 

    Fitness, hoping to keep on running, but I’m taking it one day at a time. I ran 5 miles this morning and it was so fun. Hoping to run 5 again tomorrow and Sunday, and then maybe back to 3 miles during the week because of time constraints. 
    Pass the sheet cake.

  • Food: I'm tracking all my food and trying to watch my calories.  I've done well most days but yesterday was outta control.

    Exercise: I didn't do much this week because I've been so tired, but I did meet my friend yesterday and we walked a paved trail for 3.5 miles.  That made me not feel like a slug.
