Very low beta but not negative... playing with my emotions

Hi all, I was active here 2 yrs ago when I started treatment, 2nd FET resulted in DD. We are trying for baby #2 and did a FET on 4/3. I have been testing at home ( I got my BFP with DD at 6dp5dt) and it’s been negative so I already went through the heartache and disappointment.
Today was my beta and I got a call saying it was a 6... less than 5 is negative and 6-24 is “a gray area”. The nurse said she hated having to tell me this and that she’s seen it work with such a low number but to not get my hopes high as the chance is minimal.
I have such a roller coaster of emotions now. I don’t want false hope , just curious if anyone here ever had such a low beta and a viable pregnancy.
Thanks in advance for being here even if it’s just so I can vent, most people can’t understand these struggles ...

I'm so sorry. My first transfer, I had betas come back at 12.something, and then 4.something. Sorry I don't have better experience to share. My second transfer was successful, but those betas were much higher... (((hugs))) will you go back for another in a couple days?

Thanks @BusinessWife I was supposed to test Monday but we left town today... (first mini vacation in a long time which we had planned for a while, what are the odds?) I will test again Wednesday morning. Just took a ERFR and of course now there’s a super faint line.Glad your second transfer worked!!

I had a similar experience to BusinessWife unfortunately with my 2nd transfer. My first beta came back at 25, the 2nd at 5. That being said, it seems encouraging that you weren't getting any positives at home and now you are but I know it's an absolute rollercoaster. Wishing the best for you!

I kept taking my estrace and crinone but after that positive on Friday the line got lighter on Saturday and nothing Sunday so it looks like it’s over. We kept saying that this time around we wouldn’t stress out too much and that if it happens great but if not we’ll be fine ... easier said than done. I’m so sorry! I know how hard this can be, this is my 3rd cycle and it has been non stop worry after the first two failed attempts. I wish you the very best of luck if you decide to try again

@smillsy thanks for the good wishes. Just read your story, what you are doing is so amazing. And yes... the worrying never seems to stop but it’s worth it. Hope the 2 of you are doing great, how far along are you now ?
