Elective ultrasound today and OB appointment on Wednesday
Symptoms?
They disappeared for a couple day, but man was the morning sickness back this morning. Also headaches =(
Rant/Rave/Questions?
Rave for my DH. I woke up with such a STRONG craving for a cinnamon roll yesterday, at 5 am no less, and when I woke DH up at 6 saying the baby wanted a cinnamon roll he went and got one
Rant about my lack of patience. I'm feeling so guilty about snapping at DS. I've been having awful headaches and when I ask him to be quiet/not yell, it lasts for all of 3 minutes before he does something incredibly loud or yells.
GTKY: What did/do you want to be when you grow up?
I knew I wanted to be a teacher since I was in 2nd grade, so I'm a teacher! I thought about going into psychology for a while, but practicality (time in school and cost of school) won out.
Appointments this week? Symptoms? Not this week. Lots of cramping, mood swings, and just plum tired
Rant/Rave/Questions? I feel like such a bad mommy lately. I'm so grumpy and I spanked my youngest for the first time. The look in her eyes just about killed me. I regretted it immediately...I don't even believe in spanking. What is wrong with me?! I feel about this

GTKY: What did/do you want to be when you grow up? I wanted to be a veterinarian...I am not. I work in healthcare, in radiology. I'm not currently practicing though.

Nothing this week. Nothing until early May now. Hopefully anxiety doesn't get too bad in the meantime.
Symptoms?
Same as always boobs, tired, food aversions, quesy (although B6 has been working wonders), etc

MIL got us two packs of prefold cloth diapers yesterday which is cool. And got oyr first diaper cover in the mail
I ordered the one I knew MH would like the most, camo!

I wanted to be a legal aide, not a lawyer, not a judge, but the person doing all the grunt work

Appointments this week? Wednesday for ultrasound and NIPT
Symptoms? nausea has lessened but I am still exhausted and having vivid dreams that make it worse
Rant/Rave/Questions? We told my parents this weekend which was exciting!
GTKY: What did/do you want to be when you grow up? I thought it would be awesome to do something with astronomy when I was really young, then thought a vet, then thought a doctor for a long time (until my junior year of college). I'm a nurse now.

@josie12367 - I'm sorry you feel that way. Little ones test our patience anyway, I've definitely had an even harder time while pregnant with my patience.

Symptoms? just the typical soul sucking nausea and exhaustion. Thankfully my cold is subsiding so that makes life a pinch better.

Symptoms? Headaches! Lots of them. And exhaustion and so much gassiness. I have plenty of other symptoms but the rest I'd consider mild.
Rant/Rave/Questions? Last night I got to go to dinner with friends and we attended a women's conference on physical and emotional health. It was so fun and just what my soul needed. DH has been amazingly helpful and thoughtful lately and I was grateful that he stayed with the kids while I went out.
GTKY: What did/do you want to be when you grow up? I wanted to be a vet. And then I realized science is not my thing.
@middleschoolmommy - yay for seeing baby! And I have been craving a cinnamon roll for a week, ever since I saw some huge ones at a hotel restaurant where DH and I stayed. You might have just convinced me to go find me one tomorrow morning.

10 weeks. Baby is the size of a date, although the strawberry sounds more appetizing.
Appointments this week?
I go Tuesday for another u/s and maybe NIPT testing. I'm on the fence on doing it this pregnancy.
Symptoms?
Ugh, everything. The exhaustion is Cray. Heartburn is on point and Zantac doesn't really help. Also, nausea and heartburn are having a battle royale on who is better and I'm pretty they are both trying to kill me.
Rant/Rave/Questions?
Rant: H just asked me what took me so long to get his pile of dirty clothes from over the weekend. I told him I don't move as fast as I used to (I may have snapped just a tiny bit). He said I needed to calm down. Cue irrational hormonal rampage. Isn't it internationally recognized to never say that to a woman, much less a pregnant one?
GTKY: What did/do you want to be when you grow up?
I wanted to a large animal vet, but college quickly changed that. I became a psych major instead. My dream is open and run a therapeutic riding facility and do equine facilitated psychotherapy.
@middleschoolmommy nausea popping back up is the worst. You think you're in the clear and then it's like your body is laughing at you for being so foolish. Also yay for seeing little bub wiggling around in there! It's so great when you get to see them!
@josie12367 I've had such a short temper with DD recently too. I feel so bad about the things I've flipped out about.
@lurvleybunchococonuts glad the b6 is helping! My OB didn't mention it until 8 weeks my first time around. It's SO much better this time around with something to ease the nausea.
@mockingjay1 I was convinced I was going to be an astronaut or work on the ground for NASA until 5th or 6th grade, stars always fascinated me.

Nope. I had my dating/viability scan on Friday and won't have another appointment until 10.5 weeks.

Nausea, vomitting, bloating. Lots of fun *eyeroll*
Rant/Rave/Questions?
Rant - the ILs just said they want to do a big family vacation either in December/January this year or May/June next year (we haven't told them about baby#2 yet). Obviously December/January time frame isn't going to happen by MH is actually seriously considering the May/June timeframe. I really just don't want to deal with hotels and all that nonsense with an infant and an almost 3 year old.
But! Rave - I napped from 9-11 today and MH dealt with our crazy toddler. It was so nice to be able to sleep when I was tired and not have to power through until someone else was here .
GTKY: What did/do you want to be when you grow up?
a teacher, then a doctor. I have a master's in bio (was going for a PhD and 3 years it decided it wasn't for me) and worked in labs for years before becoming a SAHM now so clearly neither of those really happened.
How far along are you? How big is baby?
Had my first US on Friday which measured peanut at 8 weeks, but I’m guessing doc will stick with my EDD of 11/25 based on LMP. Baby is the size of a raspberry.
Appointments this week?
First OB appointment tomorrow.
Symptoms?
So tired! Mild nausea that subsides after I eat.

DD turned 13 months today. And we got about 6 inches of snow, boo for April snow storms.

Symptoms?
Honestly not really which makes me super nervous. I have been peeing a whole lot more and tired. But all the nausea is gone and my boobs have been that sore. I just hope this rainbow is OK.

Rant for DH, he has been nothing but amazing lately and put up with my moods.
Rave, I saw my ob for the first time this week (I was just discharged from my RE) and he refused to use Doppler to check the heartbeat which makes me so nervous.
Question, has anyone noticed symptoms lessened??
GTKY: What did/do you want to be when you grow up?
I wanted to be a teacher. I am an underwriter for a company that sells personal insurance.
@goldie987 - Ugh I'd be hesitant about a vacation then too, but I don't care for my MIL. If it were my family I may feel different depending on where we were going and how many people would be there.
@wildrainbow - I've replied to someone before about this (maybe it was you so sorry if I'm repeating myself) but zantac doesn't touch my heartburn. I have GERD so I take omeprazole daily anyway. I tried to do zantac when I found out I was pregnant but only made it 3 days and it was miserable. My OB said omeprazole was fine. Maybe ask yours about it?

Rave: I got to spend the day with my mom at the Vera Bradley outlet sale! It was so much fun! We have done it every year, and I can't wait to go again next year with my LO!
GTKY: What did/do you want to be when you grow up?
I wanted to be an engineer when I was growing up! I even was going to school for it but when I had to transfer to an online school to finish my degree so I could work full time, I was forced to choose something else because engineering wasn't available. I chose the next best thing, Business Management in IT. I'd still like to go back and get an engineering degree sometime if I can.

Symptoms?
MS is still around along with food aversions to everything health related. I'm living off waffles, saltines, and burritos ha. The constipation is also super bad, prob at an unhealthy stage, probably going to buy some metamucil or something my OB suggested.
Rant/Rave/Questions?
Told my grandma this weekend and that was incredible, we are so close and it was such a great feeling. I think I'm also worried about babys health because this pregnancy has really created so many unhealthy eating habits, just keep telling myself a few more weeks and I can prob start sneaking fruits/veggies/proteins back in. FX.
GTKY: What did/do you want to be when you grow up? I always wanted to either be a ballerina or a doctor ha. Still working in the medical field but not as a doctor.

In the past 5 days I've only thrown up 1 day. Still nauseous, still tire easily. Gas is making a comeback.
Rant/Rave/Questions?
Rant - Didn't do anything for our anniversary last week since I've been so sick. I wanted to at least do something, since it was our 5th, but it just didn't happen. My parents got us gift cards to a Brazilian steakhouse, so as soon as I feel better that's what we're doing. Rave - woke up with very little nausea this morning. I don't want to jinx anything, but praying this is the beginning of the end of the all day sickness.
GTKY: What did/do you want to be when you grow up?
Marine biologist. I wanted to study the effects of ecotourism on marine life. I have degrees in both marine biology and anthropology. Alas, I currently work for a call center. The only good thing about it is I work from home.TTC since 6/13

Rant/Rave/Questions? I haven't been able to find the baby's heartbeat with my doppler since last Sunday. I'm chunky, so I'm attributing it to that, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't at least a little worried.
GTKY: What did/do you want to be when you grow up? Someone who sings and dances for a living. One of DD1's favorite shows is The Wiggles. There's a chick on there now; her name is Emma. I would've loved to have been Emma Wiggle when I was younger. So fun! As I got older, that shifted to psychology, specifically, marriage and family counseling. I still would love to finish my degree and do that someday. (I was halfway through when my dad's administrator quit and he begged me to come help him out while he found a replacement... that was 10 years ago lol.)

GTKY: What did/do you want to be when you grow up? I desperately wanted to be a pop singer. I idolized Britney Spears and wanted to be just like her. A little disappointed that didn't work out for me! Lol. Still 100% obsessed with Brit, though.
I hope it's okay if I jump in here! The main board overwhelms me especially since, like many of you, I usually use the app and it's horribly annoying! I'm due 11/11!
How far along are you? 10 weeks
Appointments this week? Not really, had my prenatal labs drawn, that's it. Apparently my immunity to rubella came back as "Equivocal" which means my childhood vaccine may have worn off?!? My doctor said it's nothing to worry about but I'm worrying anyway, sigh. I can't get a new vaccine until after pregnancy because it's a live vaccine.
Symptoms? Nausea, exhaustion. RLP which is driving me bananas.
Rant/Rave/Questions? I haven't gained a single pound yet and somehow all my clothes STILL don't fit! Widening hips or whatever I guess? So annoying. It's my second pregnancy.
GTKY: What did/do you want to be when you grow up? A famous author. Still working on that haha!
