Toronto Baby Show

Just wanted to let the Ontario moms to be that the Toronto Baby Show is on this coming weekend! It's $15 online or at the door. Lots of free samples and even free massages. The fall one is in October so we would not be able to go to that one.

    Is it worth it to go to the baby show? I wasn’t too impressed when I went to a wedding show because I had a small wedding where so much didn’t apply, but it was nice to have cake samples. I’m probably going to try getting most of my baby stuff used so I don’t need to see all the latest and greatest fancy stuff but I wouldn’t mind if there were good samples and freebies! Also, there’s another one at the end of the month at the international centre by the airport.

    I have never been to one so I'm really not sure! My best friend is pregnant 3 weeks ahead of me so we planned to go when we found out as a fun day out.  I also haven't done any research yet on strollers and car seats so I'm hoping there are some there to test drive. I think there is a ton a free samples. Good to know there is another one at the international center - it is a bit more pricey so maybe a better one?

    @chyvie Price doesn’t necessarily mean it will be better.  I never went to a baby show, but the best bridal show I went to was free.  It could cost more because the location costs more to rent, they didn’t charge the vendors as much as the other show or even because they want to make more $ and think increased ticket prices will be enough to cover losing the people that won’t pay that much and still make a bigger profit.

    @chyvie did you end up going or did the weather deter you? How was it? I’m seriously considering the babytime show next week. It’s going to be a much nicer weekend I did some brief research that a lot of people seemed to enjoy it. Just trying to convince my husband to come along so we can get double the samples.

    I went yesterday before the storm. It was small but not busy. had a lot of products and an Etsy junior section. Got a big bag of samples that included a bottle, intuition shaver with two cartridges, diaper, soother, about 10 or so creams/ soaps, diaper rash cream, nipple cream, and a ton of coupons. There was a lot of contests to enter. 
    I might go to the other one too.

    I was wrong about the date. It’s not next weekend but the weekend after (27th). I got tickets so the hubby and I are going. I’m bribing him with lunch! Hope it’s good.

    There's on in Detroit this coming weekend, I'm trying to decide if it's worth dragging SS with me to go. He might get a kick out of it...for like 15 minutes!
