How far along are you? How big is baby?
5 weeks today! Baby is an apple seed, a peppercorn, a BB, a dot snail, etc lol (I freaking love these size comparisons)

When is your first ultrasound scheduled?
Not scheduled yet but my first check in with the NP is next wednesday, the 18th!

Any symptoms yet?
Not too many. Tired, generally crampy and achy in my pelvic area, gassy after dinner, and sore nips. All off and on. Nothing serious yet.

Rant/Rave/Questions?

Rant: how can i only be 5 weeks?!?! I want an ultrasound asap! I got my bfp at 3weeks6 so i feel like I'm way further along than i really am.
Rave: Yay! 5 weeks *tw* when i get through this week i will be past my loss so that will be a good feling *End tw*
No real questions yet, just hoping everything is normal and trying not to freak at each little twinge

GTKY: What's your spirit animal?
I usually say a house cat. I'm friendly and snuggly, but only on my terms. Like to sleep in the sunshine, and take a while to warm up to people.

I’m 6 weeks, and baby is a ladybug or a pea, English variety.

i just scheduled my ultrasound for the 23rd. My SiL is due in August and didn’t get a first trimester ultrasound, but they are standard at my doctor’s practice. I thought that was weird.

MS is here. Lots of sips of carbonated beverages (I feel better if I can burp) and lots of bland or salty snacks. Yesterday I took a bath while eating a bowl of potato chips at 9:30 in the morning. One does what one must.

I don’t know how I’m gonna make it with a toddler for the next month. He is still very needy, though good for hugs. OTOH my parents are coming Thursday for a week (planned before bfp) so I’ll have some extra hands in the AM. And at least my schedule isn’t too full for the rest of the month. I’m a criminal defense lawyer and I’d rather suffer through mornings at my desk than in court!

My patronus is.... probably a red panda. They just look so cute! And are better suited to survival than giant pandas.

How far along are you? How big is baby? By LMP, I'm 5 weeks today. My OB doesn't change EDD if it's off by just a few days, so I think this is probably where I'll stay.

When is your first ultrasound scheduled? My first appointment is 4/30, and my OB usually tries to take a sneak peak then. If not, I'm not sure if we'll do first tri screening, so it may be as long as 20 weeks.

Any symptoms yet? Just generally tired and have headaches.

Rant/Rave/Questions? Maybe a rant, maybe just random, but one of my running buddies knows we were TTC. I'm not sure if/when to tell her that I'm KU. I'm sure my performance will begin to suffer eventually, and we usually push each other pretty hard, and I want to take it down a notch, but this hiding it part at the beginning is hard.

GTKY: What's your spirit animal? I'm going to follow @celette482's lead and pick a patronus, since the whole spirit animal thing rubs me as cultural appropriation (yes, I'm that person, sorry). And I'll pick a panda, because I like to have fun but I'm clumsy AF and fall down all the time.

ETA: I'm sorry, I realize that I'm super annoying, and the spirit animal thing wasn't meant as criticism. I used to use it until it was pointed out to me that it's culturally insensitive, so I feel like maybe not a lot of people have thought about that and wanted to point it out. Patronuses, on the other hand, are from Harry Potter, and thus are awesome.

How far along are you? How big is baby?
6 weeks, the size of a pea!

When is your first ultrasound scheduled? I’ll know this Thursday... so anxious.

Any symptoms yet? Insomnia, but also exhaustion. Always hungry. Night sweats, irritability (which is unlike me) and a little nausea today.

Rant/Rave/Questions? None, just anxious for my appt.

GTKY: What's your patronus? I’m going to say a bear. I like to hibernate and I’m protective of my family. I just asked my husband what he would say my patronus would be and he said river otter lol

How far along are you? How big is baby? I was 4 weeks yesterday

When is your first ultrasound scheduled? I'm going to call as soon as I'm off work today to schedule first doc. appointment which will include ultrasound. I have top go get my blood drawn after work. Not sure what for but I am being watched closely since I've had 2 miscarriages in the past year.

Any symptoms yet? Sore boobs, tired, little bit of heartburn, and hot flashes!

Rant/Rave/Questions? Just thinking of life with three kids is starting to stress me out a little. I know that this is what I want and have been working hard for but HOLY SHIT, three kids?

GTKY: What's your patronus? A whale. Just because I'm obsessed with whales. ( 5 whales tattooed on me)

Any symptoms yet?
Cramping, fatigue and mild nausea.

I feel like my boobs should be sore and growing already... it happened fast last time so I'm kinda worried. I also wish my doctors would have my HCG levels checked just to ease my mind.

When is your first ultrasound scheduled? I’m trying to avoid an early u/s but since my cycles are so irregular I don’t know if I will be able to. I’m calling my midwife today.

Any symptoms yet? Just sore nips and exhaustion.

Rant/Rave/Questions? We had an ice storm last night, I just want spring!

Any symptoms yet? sore boobs, heartburn, heightened sense of smell, nausea (not sure if this is related to the progesterone I'm taking)

Rant/Rave/Questions? I've been getting my HCG levels checked every 2 days and my numbers have been tripling!

2. First appointment is the 23, there better be an ultrasound!

3. Fatigue, oh the fatigue. Some queasiness but nothing terrible so far.

4. Impatient for first appointment so I can stop worrying just a tiny bit.

6 weeks today. Wahoooo. Almost halfway through the first tri!

I feel like I've adequately cataloged my symptoms elsewhere, and I don't have any R/R/Q besides why isn't is 4/30 already so I can go to my first appointment.
