Pregnant after IF

When did you get released from your RE?

The nurse (my gestational coordinator) told me that I will have 2 ultrasounds before being released to an OB. My first one is on Tuesday (yay can’t wait!) but I’m not sure when the next one will be. I’m sure she will let me know when she contacts me with the results of this first ultrasound. Just wondering when you all got to ‘graduate’?

Re: When did you get released from your RE?

  • I got released at 10 weeks. Such a bittersweet moment.
  • I was about 9 weeks when I was released to my ob.

  • 12 weeks for me
  • I was supposed to be released at 7 weeks after my ultrasound but baby was measuring behind so my RE did a second ultrasound at 9 weeks and I was released after that, with my first OB appointment at 10 weeks.
  • My first two scans were very early, and I was released at 8 weeks (3rd scan), at which point I also switched from PIO to endometrin for weeks 9 and 10.
  • 12 weeks
    TTC since May 2013
    Mild PCOS, Compound Heterozygous MTHFR
No Folic acid/pharmaceuticals/supplements (too many to list- private message me if interested), IVIL infusion
  • 11 weeks, but it would have been sooner if my placenta had taken over sooner. They do it based on bloodwork and medication tapering.

  • Technically at 8 weeks, but I stayed an extra week due to a drop in progesterone levels. But at my 6 week scan I made my appt with my ob for 9weeks (to be able to get my NT Scan scheduled, etc)
  • I switched to a regular OB right away as each ultrasound and test at my RE were about $500 out of pocket instead of $15 at my OB. I stayed on progesterone until I think 10-12 weeks which my OB tracked.
TTC 4 years. 7 failed IUI's with either Clomid, Femara and/or Trigger Shots. Started IVF journey in February 2017. Polyps removed in May. 1st IVF Transfer September 26th. BFP. Expected due date 6/14/18. Baby boy born 5/25/18 at 6 lb 9 oz. My bundle of joy.
  • 12 weeks but saw them at 13 weeks for the NIPT scan.

  • 7 weeks and I have to share that the transition from RE to OB was tough for me.  It was 5 weeks between by RE scan and first OB appt and I thought that wait was worse than any TWW.

  • After the initial blood tests (5w) and ultrasound (7 1/2 weeks), RE released me. I had an IUI.
  • I was released at 7 weeks after FET. Pretty much as soon as they confirmed solid heart beat on the ultrasound. I kept injecting PIO till 10 weeks after that.
