@eleven_ - agree about the dessert, and I'll raise you one. I think any nut (other than the cashew) is disgusting and should not be eaten by anyone, anywhere. I'm not allergic, I just hate 'em.

Peanuts and pistachios are the only acceptable nut. But I agree they don’t belong in desserts, especially ice cream (exception being peanut butter).

@galactickates WHAT!?!? No Nutella?!?! Sometimes when I'm craving sugar, I eat a big spoonful of it!
@coco2787 Peanuts are the least acceptable nut! They are the garbage nut IMO. I'll only eat them if one of them sneaks into my mouth when I'm eating trail mix.

Nutella is amazing.
Nuts are great, but peanuts are garbage unless they're in peanut butter form. I don't mind nuts in desserts, but raisins do NOT belong. And as I previously stated above all else... cheese is life

Oh, while we're talking about nuts - almonds are THE MOST OVERRATED NUT. It drives me mad. How are they so popular? Give me a pistachio, give me a macadamia nut, give me a walnut! They are all more flavorful. I always joke that the Big Almond industry must be spending a lot of money to convince everyone that they're tasty.

@galactickates It boggles my mind you don't like nutella! BOGGLES.

@eleven_ Totally agree re: raisins in dessert - the worst is when you *think* they're chocolate chips and then you bite into them...bleh.

Nutella is amazing. It isn’t a purchase I make anymore because I will eat the entire jar at once. With only a spoon. Or a loaf of cheap, chemical-laiden white bread.

I make an except of no nuts in dessert for white chocolate chip macadamia nut cookies.

I would rather work late than go in early.

TB is not superior to all TTC-related boards. JS (just some).

I don’t care who wear jorts or norts. If men want to wear them, wear them.

Raisins are the devil’s fruit. They are terrible and the texture gets even worse when baked into things. I love cheese and nuts and Nutella.

My UO: chipotle has had more salmonella/listeria or whatever outbreaks in recent history than can be purely bad luck or coincidental. I will not eat there. Moes and Willy’s for the win.

@jrm_14 I agree with you about the white chocolate macadamia nut cookies. They are the only acceptable nutty dessert.
@spottedginger The whole Chipotle thing.... They are probably the cleanest place you could possibly eat at now because of all the shit they've been through. Plus, it's absolutely delicious so I refuse to boycott.

@eleven_ that is what I thought after the first outbreak! Surely they are the SaFEST place to eat now that they’ve been through that and have additional scrutiny.... then it happened again and I lost faith.

TBH - I really only like chocolate covered macadamia nuts but mostly because that means I was in Hawaii. It's a sacred treat to me. Jk and macadamia nut icecream in a shave ice... also to be eaten in Hawaii.

+1 to cashews and almonds being gross. I really dislike how nuts break up into tiny pieces and get stuck in my teeth.

I refuse to use drive throughs. I used to work the drive through at Dairy Queen when I was in high school and it was so annoying. I would much rather just park the car and go inside. It's usually so much faster to go inside anyways! Plus, it takes me forever to make up my mind, so I like to have several minutes to peruse the menu.

Coffee tastes and smells nasty. I will eat literally anything over coffee, and I've eaten some pretty weird things in my life including horrifically strong sourdough bread, guinea pig and Rocky Mountain oysters.

@jrm_14 is right. Honestly, they weren't that bad. The flavor isn't horrible (the ones I had were sliced and then fried). The texture is a little weird, but the worst part is the thought I'm eating balls. I have always said I would NEVER eat them, but I did just so I could say I have. I don't plan to ever eat them again, but if I was at gun point and they said "either eat the cow balls or drink the coffee, and we'll let you live," I would choose the cow balls over the coffee. That's how much I hate the taste of coffee.

I didn’t have one until today (and maybe this is a fffc). I generally roll my eyes at people who immediately identify themselves as being “crunchy.” I’ve just known too many crunchies who are annoying af and pretentious and hate science. There are certainly exceptions to this rule, but too many who are not!
