Calling all DC Moms!!

in December 2018 Moms

Hey all! My husband and I are expecting our first child in December, and I’m looking for new mom friends. I’m 30, live in Southwest Waterfront and looking for other new moms in the city to meet up for (decaf) coffee, workout with, and just hangout with — if interested, comment below and I’ll get this organized and set up. It would be amazing to build a network of FTM in DC!

    I think you’ll have better luck on Meetup.com :smile: There are probably already several groups in a place like DC.

    @booksbarrebaby I am a FTM in DC too!  I don't have any friends with children so it would be great to get to know some future moms.  I'm in the NW so a bit far from you.

    Really?! I stick out from my friends because I am the only one without 2-5 kids. Good luck connecting and making new friends :smiley:

    @echo-charlietango I know it's a bit strange since I'm 31, but the average age for a first time mom in DC is 29 so I guess it's not that strange.  None of my good high school or college friends have children yet.  I am getting a little worried for everyone.  Hopefully no one waits too long and then has trouble conceiving.
