    22 weeks, baby is the size of a coconut.

    How are you feeling?
    Big, uncomfortable, lots of heartburn.  I'm starting up my daily Pepcid regimen because Tums are just not cutting it anymore.  I seriously don't know how I'm going to make it through the summer.

    Rants/raves/questions? 
    I'm really boring right now. I have nothing going on.

    Any appointments this week? 
    Nope.

    GTKY: What is a great song and/or movie from the year you were born?
    Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, y'all.  That movie was the bomb.  Still is.

    How far along are you/how big is baby? 
    21 weeks, endive or bok choy 

    How are you feeling?
    Mostly good, kind of achy by the end of the day and more emotional than usual. 

    Rants/raves/questions? 
    DH and I are moving cross-country in June, and we signed the lease on an awesome town home this week. For the first time in my adult life, I will have an in-unit washer and dryer. This has been an arbitrary life goal of mine for years.
    And, had a/s last week and found out we are having a girl! Everything looks good and she looks healthy so far.

    Any appointments this week? 
    Nothing until the first week of May.

    GTKY: What is a great song and/or movie from the year you were born?
    A popular movie from that year was Aladdin.

    How are you feeling?
    doing ok, but the heat has settled in...also not sure how I'll make it through the summer. But I've had one August baby already so I know that I *can* just not looking forward to all the sweating...

    I dropped another dose of my anti-nausea medicine - hooray! But I started twice daily zantac, so I guess it's just a trade off

    GTKY: What is a great song and/or movie from the year you were born?
    @juliebird6 I was obsessed with Pee Wee as a kid! Had a draw string doll and all. Too bad he ruined it all, can't watch him today - he's just too weird! But another good one from that year was Back to the Future. We watched that a lot in high school - I didn't even realize it was released when I was born until I looked it up just now.

    How are you feeling?     Pretty damn good, actually. Still tired. I'm not expecting to have any more energy than pre-pregnancy, which was close to none, HA! Oh, I think I experienced lightning crotch on Sunday. Baby was turning, and then ZAP! Ouch! I think I got kicked in the cervix. Didn't think lightning crotch started till later on though. Anyone else? 

    Rants/raves/questions?     Gotta brag on DH this week. He said last night, "I'm living my high school dream being married to you with a baby on the way." Melted. Completely. We went to high school together, and semi-dated, but we were mainly just friends, though he would have liked to have been more. He says I'm his dream girl all the time, but something about him adding the family part in there just made my week, month, life. <3  

    Any appointments this week?     I had my anatomy scan yesterday!!! It was so wonderful. We are having a GIRL, which is what I'd been feeling almost the whole time, so I'd gotten a little attached to the idea. DH finally admitted that's what he wanted all along too. I'll have to go back for a follow up scan because of a low placenta, but that seems pretty common, so I'm not concerned. Plus, we get to see her again, so... yay!! 

    GTKY: What is a great song and/or movie from the year you were born?     The Neverending Story... and I LOVE that movie. 
    Just a year older than you two, @juliebird6 and @homequiltingmama. I remember searching for Pee Wee's bicycle at the Alamo.  Also Tina Turner's "What's Love Got to Do with It." That song is playing on the radio in one of our home videos from that year, and it gives me the warm and fuzzies.

    @rachel1008 oh my goodness, The never ending story played on repeat (well, play, rewind, play again - ha!) at our house! My sister hated it though.

    How far along are you/how big is baby? 
    23w, baby is a grapefruit. But our little girl is tall, so I laugh when I think of her being grapefruit length instead of weight. 

    How are you feeling?
    Pretty good overall. I’ve been really busy at work and on my feet a lot, so my back has been pretty sore. Quite a bit of heartburn, but tums seem to help. 

    Rants/raves/questions? 
    We painted her nursery last weekend and will do touch ups this weekend, I love how it turned out!

    Any appointments this week? 
    Had my bi-weekly scan yesterday, and had some movement of her umbilical cord off my cervix! It is still classified as vasa previa, but MFM said after this scan she has hope it might move (there was no sign of movement at our last two scans, so I was really excited). 

    GTKY: What is a great song and/or movie from the year you were born?
    I have two- Steel Magnolias and Road House. I could watch them on repeat all day long!

    @homequiltingmama, who could hate Neverending Story??? :D

    Lol @kc0711, I've never seen either, although I've been meaning to watch Steel Magnolias recently. Shame on me, they're both classics.
