I can’t believe I’m less than 8 weeks from my due date. I am starting to freak out about where all this baby stuff is going to go in this nyc apt. DH is upset bc my nesting is manifesting as ordering storage furniture from the internet instead of cleaning. I have developed SPD (basically pelvis opening at pubic bone too early) so I’m limping around, and DH hurt his foot running a 10 mile run this past weekend so we’re doing really well as a couple. We don’t look crazy limping around together at all. Our dachshund is totally pleased.

In other news, still stalking/rooting like crazy for everyone. I’m so happy we’re using the Chit Chat board to stay in touch more often than these checkins. It’s so nice!

HG has been giving me a run for my money and the carpal tunnel I’ve developed is making me very glad I stop working this week. We just need to hang a few more things on the baby’s walls and then her room is good to go. I have my appointment tomorrow and I’m really hoping I’m starting to dilate.

I feel like my life is so boring - I have literally nothing exciting to share. I still stalk you ladies, and hope that come the time I have my final check-in, I don't recognize any of the names on the board. I'm sending my love to everyone who's had to come back recently after losses. *hugs*

We've had names picked out for what feels like forever. Of course this might change sporadically but we're pretty set on Talulla for a girl and Louis for a boy.

I got my pregnancy journal in the mail over the weekend and am looking forward to filling that out as a keepsake each week. 1st "official" prenatal appointment is this Friday. Can't wait to check in on the little Dot to see how s/he's doing Aside from that 1st Tri symptoms are kicking my ass. This sounds stupid, but pregnancy is way weirder and way harder than I could ever imagine, you hear stories about weird cravings or picky eating and being tired, but actually experiencing it is something else altogether. I feel so guilty about at the same time. I want to LOVE every moment of being pregnant, but I also just want something to sound appetizing and not make me nauseated/puke. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate every moment and think to myself it's just LO checking in and reminding me that all is well, but it's crappy feeling like crap all day every day. Which makes me feel guilty because I know I was that person when TTGP thinking, ugh, I would give my left tit to trade places with that pregnant lady bitching about being ill.

+1 for being super excited about the Chit Chat board, that is such a great idea! I still stalk you all and the decrease in grads lately has me a little saddened. I hope it picks back up and +1 to what Izza said that I hope soon TTGP will only be filled with names I don't recognize. I'm always rooting you guys on in the background and miss the camaraderie of TTGP

@lurvleybunchofcoconuts I felt the same way my whole first trimester, in addition to feeling so guilty about not enjoying being pregnant, especially after how long it took me to get here. It gets better!

My EDD got moved up by 3 days. Woohoo! I gained a few days! I know she'll come when she comes, but I'm still happy to jump ahead a bit. Everything's is looking good so far. Anatomy scan is in a couple weeks (we know the sex from the Harmony genetic test).

As always, rooting for you all, especially the TTCAL and IF warriors.

I got us signed up for all the hospital classes, and started ordering all the feminine products for pp and toiletries for the hospital bag... it's been nice to have several weeks off from appointments, and I guess getting these other things in place is helping me feel more prepared. I know we have time, but as we approach the halfway point, definitely feeling like there's still so much to do!

We have been telling people IRL, although I tell everyone that I reserve the right to change it at any time. The only "negative" feedback I have gotten is from my 11 year old nephew and, well, I guess that's to be expected.

I feel totally unprepared lately and like I haven't done enough to get ready. I know we still have time, but I'm starting to feel like I saved everything for the last minute. I'm trying not to buy everything I need because I will be having a shower.

We had our second midwife appointment this week, and got to hear the heartbeat for the first time - it was SO magical, and still so hard to believe, but has finally let me start to relax and stop worrying so much about something bad happening

Saw my chiropractor yesterday which helped and I'm trying to get in with my PT. I had a serious back injury in 2015 so I'm glad I already am established with great doctors.

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? I had an ultrasound on Monday and it really helped calm my PGAL nerves. I still can't believe things are progressing and I feel so lucky. I miss you all so much! TTGP is definitely the best board on TB and I'm so glad I get to keep up with so many of you on the Chit Chat board. I'm constantly lurking and reading everyone's updates. I hate that a lot of you have had such difficult experiences lately, but I'm always thinking about you and hoping the next few months are kinder to you and bring good things, whatever they may be.

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? I missed the March update, but I had posted in February about being diagnosed with melanoma. I’m happy to report that my lymph node biopsy was negative!!! So happy we made it past that.

I can't believe I'm almost in the second trimester. We had our second ultrasound just this morning. I've been having pretty bad cramping and found out that it's just my fibroid causing it. Very relieved! I feel like the journey just started even though we began this back December 16'. I miss you ladies terribly... the other boards are just not the same. THOUGH, I'm so happy to have the chit chat board to hang out again! I'm stalking you ladies daily, and fx everything that upcoming treatments and transfers are successful! Wishing you all the best!

Wow, I can’t believe this will be my last check in! Charley was born April 9th by scheduled C-section due to being breech. The procedure itself went very smoothly but Charley needed to be monitored in the NICU for a few hours after her birth due to rapid breathing. She was released after only a few hours but it was the worst not being able to hold her or see her immedirely following her arrival. Recovering from a C-section has been rough but is getting easier everyday.

I continue to lurk and root for all of you! Looking forward to the day when I no longer recognize anyone here on TTGP.
