I am thankful we finally shared the news with our parents last night! We kept having to delay it because one set of parents weren’t available and we wanted to tell them on the same day, but we finally shared last night!
We did the video tour of our home renovations and ended with “the baby’s room.” MIL cried. FIL said he thought we were going to make them wait until we were in our 40’s (haha!). My my mom cried and my stepdad was all “man my allergies are bothering me” (aka he cried!). It was the best feeling ever and I am so thankful we finally got to share the news! Next up is our siblings... yay!
I am thankful we were able to find a way to do genetic testing and find out the sex of the baby without costing us $1000+. Several of my pregnant friends were telling me they were able to get it done for $100-$200 because their doctors have a deal worked out with certain companies. My doctor doesn't have that but after many calls to insurance, I found out today that even though it's still expensive, MaterniT 21 counts towards my deductible and out of pocket max. We were going to hit the out of pocket max regardless this year with baby and then insurance pays at 100%. So we'll just hit it a little earlier with doing this test. And we can use our HSA fund to pay for it! We should be able to get it done and find out results within the next few weeks!

I am thankful for my saint of a MIL who watches DD four days a week. She let me take a nap today when I got in from work today bc I guess she could see I really needed it. She takes such good care of our daughter and is all around the best.
Thankful I have food in my fridge and pantry. I haven't had a job for 2 months and struggling to find one. I'm using my tax return I got 6500. I spent 2k on sons medical needs and the rent on bills, gas, food and now im down to 2500. Hope everything goes well. I had a good job and this was my first big return.
I'm thankful for a husband who doesn't get phased when I start crying in the middle of trying to have sex because I just feel fat and uncomfortable. I even initiated it! He calmed me down, turned on a raunchy video and focused on me. Maybe some TMI, but I was so thankful last night.
I'm thankful for H&M having a crazy sale and free shipping. I scored 4 maternity shirts for $38! Now, I just need the weather to warm up so I can wear them...
Thankful to have this weekend off before the outage starts because starting Thursday it's 7 days a week 12 hours a day of work work work until early May!
It's notThursday but I'm thankful we just booked our baby moon to the Bahamas first week in May! Very thankful It was taken off the Zika list with no reports for over a year! So excited to be going to a warm beach, as it's been over a year since we have done any travel and I'm going crazy. Building this house has sucked all our money.

I’m thankful for having the type of friend who is okay with me playing with his hair while crying for no particular reason.
