At my dr appointment this week I realized I gained 6 lbs in the 3.5 weeks since my last appointment. I swore I was going to start eating healthy and cut out the junk.
So far today (in addition to breakfast and lunch) I’ve had 2 mini cupcakes, a mini chocolate chip muffin, a bag of chips and a snack sized bag of cookies. So much for healthy

@nackie I think it’s just the period of pregnancy we’re in. I am eating mostly health and have gained 4.5 pounds in two weeks. I’ve read we’ll have the most rapid weight gain between weeks 15 and 20.

I wasn’t super excited at the anatomy scan. Even the nurse doing the ultrasound mentioned it. It just takes me awhile to process info.

@SkilledSailor yeah, I was just really hoping to gain a little less weight than I did last time around. So far that doesn’t seem to be happening. Oh well.
I wasnt excited at my anatomy scan with my first either. I kept waiting for them to find something terrible. Once it was as over and the doc said everything was good I started to get more excited.

I totally stole DS's tube of mini m&ms last night. I did share some with him, but kiddo doesn't need chocolate (neither do I).

I stole like half of DS’s Easter candy. In my defense my mom and aunt went crazy and bought an insane amount of candy for a 2 year old. He does NOT need a full size chocolate bunny

DD didn’t even get candy for easter. She loves the idea of candy, it makes her happy to get it, but she eats like half a piece and spits it out, literally sucks the color coating off the m&m and hands it back...
I didn’t wanna deal w constantly tossing licked once lollipops and spit out jelly beans, she’ll do chocolate but only once in a blue moon. She almost never asks for it.

She got 1 puzzle instead, 3 pieces at a time in each easter egg. She was just as happy.

@starla that would be accurate! My office keeps a fully stocked kitchen for us which is an awesome benefit, but I’m lacking all willpower these days. It’s a problem

I also gained six pounds in basically four weeks

Yesterday I ate a delicious cuban steak with rice and beans, with a side of sweet fried plantains and one chicken empanada. Took a whole day to digest that lol No regrets.
