A ticker change is our way of marking the milestone of moving in to a new week in your pregnancy. For instance, my weeks roll over on Thursdays. Today I went from 11 weeks to 12 weeks.

1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby? 14 weeks. The size of a lemon!
2. How are you feeling? Terrible! I still have really awful nausea and bloating. I look much more pregnant than I actually am.
3. Any appointments this week? No appointments.
4. Rants/raves/questions? Have started having very vivid dreams and end up having episodes of talking in my sleep quite aggressively. It's quite embarrassing because I do it whether it's at night or dozing for a nap on the couch.
5. GTKY: If you could travel in time and to any location, where would you go and / or who would you want to meet? Back to the building of the Great Pyramids of Giza (Egypt). I have seen them in person and am amazed by their size. I would love to see how they were actually built.
1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby? 13w; all my apps have different foods today: lemon, peach, kiwi, pea pod, jalapeno pepper.... one of those.
2. How are you feeling? Is there an anxiety phase? I'm in that spot where I feel totally fine, but I also haven't grown much in the last few weeks (still have growing pains), so I'm just constantly thinking, "is everything okay in there??" even though I just saw little nugget moving and grooving on the u/s last week.
3. Any appointments this week? Nope
4. Rants/raves/questions? See above. And I also second the vivid dreams. If I could remember them fully, I'd be rich, because they are movie plot quality stories.
5. GTKY: If you could travel in time and to any location, where would you go and / or who would you want to meet? I'm not feeling very creative right now to think of something specific, I'll edit later when I think of something.

11 weeks...a fig! I feel like that seems more size appropriate than a lime...
2. How are you feeling?
Pretty good! My nausea has mostly gone away and I’ve been able to stay awake a little later the past week or so. Although I am still so tired because I don’t feel like I’ve been sleeping well.
3. Any appointments this week?
Next Wednesday April 11! Can’t wait to go back in an hopefully hear the heartbeat again.
4. Rants/raves/questions?
My 12 week appointment is only an OB visit, they didn’t schedule another ultrasoud or NT scan. Is this normal? I’ve seen a lot of people post about their 12 week NT scans. I’m hoping they will at least try to listen for the heartbeat. They do all of my ultrasounds in the office so I don’t think they plan on seeing me and writing a prescription for one or anything like that.
5. GTKY: If you could travel in time and to any location, where would you go and / or who would you want to meet?
I have been seeing this question all week, and I honestly can’t think of a time I would want to go back to. I would probably have to say bible times to meet Jesus.
And for your question about the 12 week appt: mine was literally 10 minutes long. And I thought it was only going to be listening to the heartbeat, but they said I had the option of doing the Doppler or the u/s, so I was like, uh duh. So that was a pleasant surprise. But other than that, she just asked how I was feeling and that was it. No measurements or anything (besides weight and bp). And I think 16 wk will be similar, with only a Doppler.

11 weeks! Baby is the size of a Brussels sprout.
2. How are you feeling?
Generally pretty good. I get bouts of nausea and gas pains. Also I’m pretty bloated and I’m not sleeping very well but most of the time I’m good!
3. Any appointments this week?
Blood draw on Friday for genetic screening and then next doctors appointment is 4/13. I’m getting anxious/nervous/impatient because the last appt. we went to was 7 weeks and 1 day - we saw and confirmed the heartbeat but I’m just praying that it’s still there and strong when we go next Friday!

5. GTKY: If you could travel in time and to any location, where would you go and / or who would you want to meet?
Tough question! I would say the early American times like late 1800’s... I wouldn’t say I’d like to live in this era but to be able to go back and just be a “fly on the wall” I think would be pretty awesome. I find American history from the founding fathers to the type of infrastructure and beginning economies fascinating during this time frame.
My 12wk wasn’t supposed to include an ultrasound, but one was offered to me when the OB couldn’t find the heartbeat on the doppler.
Also, the NT scans are an optional additional screening, primarily screening for Downs Syndrome I believe. If you turned down genetics consultation or didn’t have any risk factors, it may not have been offered to you.

2. How are you feeling? Still nauseous every now and then. I would really like to eat a meal and not feel super miserable.
3. Any appointments this week? I have my first trimester screening on Monday. Excited to see the peanut.
4. Rants/raves/questions? So I just moved from South Dakota to Nebraska and I’m super sad cause I love love love my obgyn! I moved to a small town and they have 2 options and I don’t like either of them! I’ve been lucky enough just to travel back for the appointments (5 hours) but I now start my new job next week and that isn’t going to happen. My fiancé doesn’t understand why I can’t just pick a doctor and be done.. ugh! Super depressing
5. GTKY: If you could travel in time and to any location, where would you go and / or who would you want to meet? I would love to see the medieval times!!

12 weeks, baby is the size of a plum!
2. How are you feeling?
Pretty good, some trouble sleeping so a bit fatigued.
3. Any appointments this week?
Nope. Had our ultrasound last week and got to see little baby kicking around, moving it’s arms. It was the most amazing thing, so in Love already!
4. Rants/raves/questions?
I miss sleeping on my stomach!!
5. GTKY: If you could travel in time and to any location, where would you go and / or who would you want to meet?
I would like to go into the future, say 200 years. See if we get any of these mounting issues sorted out, and if manage to protect the wild spaces and beasts!
It was also my first ultrasound; I’m not sure if she would have offered if I had had a dating ultrasound earlier in 1st tri.

Better overall thankfully!
3. Any appointments this week?
I had an appointment for my diabetes Wednesday and my first trimester screening is Tuesday. So excited to see baby girl. (I'm still in shock over this)

Just hoping the second trimester energy comes soon!

2. How are you feeling?
A lot better now that I’ve seen that baby is well and growing. Slight gagging at random intervals but more energy and bump is beginning to show.
3. Any appointments this week?
No appointments until 04/26 but had my dating scan on Wednesday so due date is 10/10.
4. Rants/raves/questions?
I would love to hear any experiences of how mums have managed with a toddler and NB without close family members around? I want to move closer to my family before this baby is born but Hubby isn’t 100% keen.
5. GTKY: If you could travel in time and to any location, where would you go and / or who would you want to meet?
I would love to go back to biblical times to meet Jesus to see all the healings and miricales he did!
1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby? 14 weeks, size of a peach or a playing card.
2. How are you feeling? overall, pretty decent. Not really showing yet, but definitely feeling some minor growing pains. I work for myself so while I'm feeling more energized, not really feeling motivated to work. Heartburn and headaches have subsided the last few days. I ordered the crib and dresser this week and I'm starting to get more excited, although it still doesn't feel quite real yet.
3. Any appointments this week? 14 week checkup and a followup ultrasound was on Tuesday. Ultrasound was because they saw a cyst on the umbilical cord at 10 week ultrasound, cyst appears to be gone now!
4. Rants/raves/questions? Not really, been doing a lot of research this week and what not to help get me mentally prepared for the rest of the journey.
5. GTKY: If you could travel in time and to any location, where would you go and / or who would you want to meet? Oh, this is a tough one. I think it would be fascinating to visit the UK during medieval times, although I'm guessing I wouldn't want to stay long.
