How far along are you/how big is baby?
21 weeks, baby is as big as an endive or a Chipotle burrito.

How are you feeling?
Not bad! Legs are getting a little swollen by the end of the day, heart burn sucks, but over all, pretty decent. I've actually surprised myself a few nights too and not gotten up to pee! That's been nice.

Rants/raves/questions?
I'm feeling so much movement this time around. It's crazy how different this pregnancy is than with DD. Maybe I just didn't know what I was feeling before, or maybe she didn't move as much as this baby, but wow - I'm really surprised by it! It's been fun telling everyone it's a boy too. Oh, and I found out that my SIL is also pregnant and due in November! Our babies will be less than 3 months apart. I'm so excited!!!

Nope, nothing for a while now.

GTKY: What trait do you hope the baby gets from you, your SO, or another family member?
I love this question. I hope this baby gets DH's silliness and his complexion. It would be cool if he got my blue eyes and love of reading too.

Pretty good except for my hip and leg pain at night that tends to keep me awake.

Rants/raves/questions?
Not really. A rant is that I haven’t had time to bump this week because family in town, so I’m way behind and out of the loop!

Any appointments this week?
Not another for a few weeks.

GTKY: What trait do you hope the baby gets from you, your SO, or another family member?
I hope baby is musical like DH and I, and has a funny sense of humor. I would also like it to be a better sleeper than DS

How far along are you/how big is baby?

20 weeks, a banana.

How are you feeling?

Good except I just feel sore all over today. Yesterday was my first day back to work after spring break, and I guess it was harder on my body than I realized.

Rants/raves/questions?

Creating a registry has been harder than I expected. I really don't know what we'll need, and we tend to be on the more minimalist side, so it's difficult to commit to asking for a bunch of things we're unsure about. I imagine it will just be a lot of trial and error figuring out what we need for this kiddo.

Any appointments this week?

My a/s is tomorrow and I'm so excited! It'll be the first appointment DH gets to go to, and I can't wait to see his reaction to seeing LO and hearing the heartbeat. Plus we'll be finding out the sex, which will make all my extended family really happy.

GTKY: What trait do you hope the baby gets from you, your SO, or another family member?

I hope the baby has DH's sense of adventure and my love of reading and learning. I also hope he/she gets DH's easily tanned skin and my greenish eyes.

How far along are you/how big is baby? 20 weeks, the size of a banana/paper airplane

How are you feeling? Better than I have in about 14 weeks, haha! The nausea is pretty much gone. I didn't have time to eat breakfast or a snack this morning, and I was fine. My back seems to be getting a little used to the extra weight, and it's been less achey at the end of the day. Last week I'd gained like 9 lbs in two weeks, so it was like wtf. But I didn't gain any for a week. Rapid weight gain is hard on the joints!!!

Rants/raves/questions? We were just watching Legion, and the main character started eating waffles, which triggered a major craving. My rave is that DH went straight to Sonic and got me some French toast sticks to satisfy the craving. He's pretty great.

Any appointments this week? None. Heartbeat was 145 last week. A/S next Tuesday!!!

GTKY: What trait do you hope the baby gets from you, your SO, or another family member? DH has the most beautiful light blue/green/yellow eyes with thick, dark eyelashes. I have blue/green eyes with blonde/clear eyelashes. Hoping LO gets his beautiful eye combo.

How far along are you/how big is baby? 22 weeks, the size of a burger.

How are you feeling? Pretty good! I've been having migraines and heartburn a couple of times a week, which is really annoying, but other than that I've been feeling good! Baby is kicking all day long and I looooove that, so I'm really blissful most days now haha.

Rants/raves/questions? Yesterday DS felt baby kick for the first time, and (as a kid who dances and sings ALL day long), he goes "baby brudder is dancing and singing a song!" which I thought was adorable. Then a minute later he comes back to hug and kiss the belly and says to the belly "hi baby brudder! I'm your best friend!"

Any appointments this week? None.

GTKY: What trait do you hope the baby gets from you, your SO, or another family member? I hope this baby gets my big eyes and the amazing color that DS has - his are blue/green. DH has light green eyes, and my grandma has blue, so they seem to be a combo of theirs. Mine are hazel, so kinda boring haha. I also hope that he loves to sing and dance as much as DS. He's sooooo into music and it's amazing to watch.

oops, missed this! I think I missed it last week too *sigh*

How far along are you/how big is baby? 21 weeks, carrot

How are you feeling? kinda meh. I think I'm dehydrated, so trying to up my water

Rants/raves/questions? I finally got all the Christmas stuff packed up and put away - obviously waaay overdue. But it's done and I feel great about that. I'm already planning on only doing the tree this next Christmas just to give our family a break.

Any appointments this week? none for a couple weeks

GTKY: What trait do you hope the baby gets from you, your SO, or another family member? I hope she enjoys sleep (like me), enjoys outdoors stuff (like DH), and gets along well (like my girls).
