I plan on waiting until 12ish weeks at least to make the big announcement but when are you guys announcing your pregnancy to close family (mom and dad)? I announced at 6 weeks last pregnancy (after my appointment) but was curious because my new OB doesn’t do appointment until after 10 weeks.
Re: Announcement
But I certainly have thought about it! If everything works out, we are planning to take my daughter to Disneyland for the first time in June and I'll be 14 weeks on that day, so that might be a fun way/place to announce ("Happiest place on earth for happiest announcement," etc.)
Also, we're REALLY bad at keeping secrets.
TW...
My reasons are because of my loss, but it's such a personal decision for every woman and couple.

We told his mom that night.
My mom and her husband the next day.
My dad and his wife the day after.
That is all the people that will know for now. I have an apt at 10+2 and if we hear a heart beat we will probably tell BIL / SIL / really close friends. Then we will tell more "openly" after the first trimester mark.
That said, idk how this is going to go. I’ve heard third pregnancies becomes more obvious earlier, because your body is basically shot (yay!), so I think we’ll just tell them when we can’t hide it any more.
DH has this idea. We are building a house right now and we are on schedule to move in in May. He wants to put a crib up in one of the bedrooms and when our family comes over to see the new house they will see it and that will be our announcement. I think it’s super cute, but I don’t know logistically if it will work due to the fact that a lot of our family will probably be helping us move.

Love all these ideas you guys have!
We have told my immediate family because we see them all the time. Waiting on husbands side after first tri, probably. I’ve also told my two closest friends, mainly because I rely on them a lot for support and sanity. That’s it for now. No clue when we will tell our four year old. Probably once I start to really show?

We plan on revealing to everyone once I make my three month mark. I made a youtube video that has clips of us from when we first started dating, our engagement and wedding, and finally my pregnancy and first year of my sons life until now and at the end it reveals the big secret! I plan on sending everyone the link to it when Im ready.
I wanted to say what the youtube video is called so you guys can check it out but im pretty sure thats against some kind of rule, so oh well!
My son is almost 3. We were going to wait to tell him, but he knows. He asked me yesterday if I had a baby in my tummy. I couldn’t lie (there’s no lying in our house) so I said yes.
That said though, I can already tell he’s going to be the best big brother! We were eating apple slices last night and he said to me, “Momma, you full? Baby not full. Eat more so baby can grow big and strong.”

Then my mom's bday is May 25th, so we'll probably get her a bottle of wine with a special label of some sort announcing for us. It'll have to be sent because she lives a couple states away. Not sure what to do to tell my dad, maybe something including our current DS.
