  • I'm getting back home tonight and I bet DH has not bought anything to fill the fridge. I'll survey the situation tonight, probably order via Amazon Now, and update a meal plan tomorrow:) definitely looking forward to a week of regular meals!

@stlmegs love cous cous, might make some!
  • I may be behind the curve here, but tell me more about Amazon now!

  • @stmegs I guess it's Prime Now actually -prego brain! If you have Prime, you can order groceries from select stores (varies by state) and from Amazon and it gets to you in a few hours! In California we have the option to order from Amazon, Sprouts, and Bristol Farms. I love Sprouts so that works for me when my fridge is totally empty! The annoying thing is that if you order from diff stores they charge diff delivery fees so I stick with one. It's awesome!
  • That is so cool!  We have prime, but I don't think that we have that service in St. Louis.  How cool!!

Download the prime now app and you can find out for sure:)
  • We're doing mostly salads for dinner this week. DH finally got a lecture from the doc about his meat only diet. Thankfully eating chicken is back in rotation as a protein, but DH has to cook it because I still can't be around it while it cooks.
  • Hopefully I have the motivation to cook all of this this week. It’s looking like a lot of potatoes though. Should make the H super happy.

M- honey balsamic steak bites w/ mashed potatoes and a veggie
    T- tacos
W- hot ham and cheese sandwiches with leftover Easter ham, French fries, and a veggie
T- Trader Joe’s orange chicken and fried rice
    F- meatloaf and mashed potatoes
S- cheesesteak stuffed peppers and French fries
S- chicken on the grill, probably a potato and veggie of some sort.
  • @hillbillywife I want to live at your house.

  • We’re very casual eaters lol @stlmegs my H comes from a long line of farmers (he’s not though) so a meat and a potato is pretty much required at our house every day.

Steak didn’t happen today because I forgot it needed to marinate, so we had leftover ham.
