Sunday Ticker Change - 4/1 (Late, sorry!) - (For those of us due 12/2 and 12/9 for now, I think!)

Hi there!  In case you're new, a ticker change is a post every week to mark the day you change over to the new week of pregnancy. It's just a fun way to celebrate making it through another week and to get to know the people who also change dates on the same day of the week. Once we have everyone on the board, the Sunday ticker change will be for due dates 12/2, 12/9, 12/16, 12/23, and 12/30 but for now I think it's just 12/2 and 12/9! Woo! How are you all doing?

How far along are you? How big is baby?  

When is your first ultrasound scheduled?  

Any symptoms yet?

    How far along are you? How big is baby?  5 weeks yesterday! Baby is the size of an appleseed!

    When is your first ultrasound scheduled?  April 23rd and 8:45am! Eep!

    Any symptoms yet?  Tired, sore back, a little out of it, and a lack of appetite.

    Rant/Rave/Questions? Very excited to welcome baby #2 into our house!

    GTKY: Tell us about your pets! We have a dog named Sadie! We rescued her in 2012 and she's been a pill ever since!

    How far along are you? How big is baby?  5+1 (5 weeks yesterday) - size of a peppercorn

    When is your first ultrasound scheduled?  Not scheduled yet. Realistically not until 18-20 weeks for anatomy scan

    Any symptoms yet?  Tired. Hungry. Thirsty. Few dizzy spells. 

    Rant/Rave/Questions?  I'm having a hard time not blabbing to everyone! And I'm really nervous about taking time off for appointments and blood work. My boss is not understanding with time off at all.

    GTKY: Tell us about your pets! I have 2 dogs. one will be 8 this month, the other will be 7 in August. Both small dogs and they are awesome!

    @kristah2 I've already told so many people, lol.  I figure, if something happens, those people would know anyway.  *TW* I kept it a secret from most people my first pregnancy and ended up with a miscarriage at 8 weeks and had to tell some people bad news without hearing the good news.  It was harder. My last pregnancy I blabbed right out of the gate and loved the support!   I'm so sorry your boss sucks with time off :(  Does your OB not do a dating ultrasound?

    @texas_t I've told my mom / her husband, My husbands mom, My dad / his wife and one of my best friends. Like you said, the people who I would want support from should something happen.
    I actually continue to see my family doctor until about 26 weeks here before switching to my OB. Because I'm in Canada (although health care is free) health care is slow. So unless a history of loss they won't do an early ultrasound. My last pregnancy I had one at 10 weeks to rule out ectopic. 18  weeks for anatomy scan and then I had 2 more after that as my appendix ruptured at 24 weeks and I lost a lot of weight so they had to make sure the baby was still developing appropriately. 
    As for the boss - I have no idea what I'm going to do there. DH has a dr apt on Friday so I'm home my doc will give him my bloodwork req so I can just take time off for blood work and have my first apt a couple of weeks after. 
    We shall see!

    @kristah2 Ah, yes. I have a very good friend outside Alberta and she says the same thing! I'm sorry you have to wait!

    When is your first ultrasound scheduled? Most likely anatomy scan 

    Any symptoms yet? Peeing constantly, never hungry, mold cramping here and there and as of last night, insane dreams. Also winded at times which is totally weird. 

    Rant/Rave/Questions? My 3 year old calls the baby, Baby Bon Bon and it’s so cute. 

    GTKY: Tell us about your pets! I have an 9 year old mutt and we recently rehomed our hens. We’re moving across country so we’ll start fresh with a new flock of chickens.

    How far along are you? How big is baby?  5w2d today! Baby is apparently the size of a lentil. 

    When is your first ultrasound scheduled?  April 19

    Any symptoms yet?  Tired, queasy when I get hungry, a little constipated (trying to stay on top of this one with water + lots of fiber) and sometimes sore boobs.

    Rant/Rave/Questions?  I’m just so nervous and anxiously awaiting my first appointment! I told my mom this weekend (we had a family funeral so I wanted to tell her so she wouldn’t be forcing drinks on me), but we’re waiting until after the appointment to tell the rest of our parents. 

    GTKY: Tell us about your pets! We have a black shelter kitty named Donna. She loves me best.

    How far along are you? How big is baby?  4 weeks and 3 days- according to my app, the size of a poppyseed.

    When is your first ultrasound scheduled?  Sometime next week

    Any symptoms yet?  Sore breasts, and SOOO tired

    Rant/Rave/Questions? What's the verdict on taking baths while pregnant?

    GTKY: Tell us about your pets! One dog named Lola, she is 12, going on 3. She's a perpetual puppy.

    Just a little background, my husband and I were TTC fr some time, had been seeing a RE who wanted to start an aggressive IVF protocol for me. Did one IUI (medicated) and was told it was unsuccessful. Well, I got my BFP on 4/1 since I was not feeling so great, decided to take another test.
