I bled through a super tampon pretty quickly today. Really, I’m not too upset bc it was on a pair of underpants of which I am not fond. Now I have an excuse to ditch them.

Cut to me wanting to die because he had to break his moms heart.
We've had to be very direct/explicit about stuff like new jobs, raises, etc. b/c we can't just say "news" or "did you hear" b/c everyone's expecting us to announce a pregnancy. Basically as soon as we announced our engagement three years ago they've been waiting for us to say we're expecting.

AFM...I got my hospital bill from my surgery today. I’m so glad I have insurance but holy crap - $42K before insurance - I definitely did not contribute enough to my HSA this year
And I guess I see the positive to everyone thinking I can't have kids any more, no one is ever expecting me to be pregnant.
And what was with the drive by getting completely deleted??? Did she come back again? Completely deleting is normally reserved for really extreme cases I thought...

@galactickates and @catlady2015 My MIL was super all about DH and I having a baby once we got married. For a long time we weren't ready and then when we were, we kept it a secret that we were trying. I'm glad we did because we had trouble. ANYWAY, I remember one time specifically when we told her we needed to talk to her and she started smiling and got all excited, I knew exactly what she was thinking. Nope..sorry.
She'd always mention kids or another grandchild and I just wanted to be like, "Trust, me it's not from lack of trying!"

On a related note, I had a sex dream about my best friend once and I cringed every time he touched me for like, a week. It was so, so awkward. The sex in the dream was awkward. Ew, I'm shuddering just thinking about it now.
Yeah, sex dreams about friends are the worst!! Whenever it happens I yell at my brain "WHY?!?!" And to make matters worse, my wife and his boyfriend at the time were both out of town the next day so he suggested we "go on a date" and try to fool people that we were a couple. I wanted the ground to swallow me. He's like my brother so it feels so incestuous - ick!!!! I didn't tell him about my dream because I know he'd have done whatever he could to make it worse and rub it in.
@galactickates I'm sorry you had to do that. It is heartbreaking. I told all of my friends that we were trying at a party and subsequently read in some TTC articles that you should never do that. I also feel slightly embarrassed that I did because there were some people there that I didn't know, but I couldn't help it! I was so excited. Cut to 15 months later...
