This is always a fun way to get to know each other. (Though my UO's are so boring, I swear I am trying, haha.) Anyway, let's get this going - what are your unpopular opinions?
Here are mine: turkey bacon is better than regular bacon, Seinfeld is incredibly overrated (Curb Your Enthusiasm is somewhat similar but much better!) and chocolate ice cream is probably the worst flavor of ice cream.
Re: UO (Unpopular Opinion) Thursday!
Mine this week is that hating a popular thing is just s roundabout way to be cool and popular, particularly if you’re vocal about it.

1. The Princess Bride is a terrible, extremely annoying movie.
2. Potatoes in any form are disgusting.
Throwing that out there because I know we've got some first time moms here who might end up feeling the same way I did (especially since the first trimester seems to be pretty rough), and I just want you guys to hear early on that you're not a bad mom because of it, nor a bad person, and that, importantly, you're not alone if you don't get the warm fuzzies from this whole process.
ETA: .... But I hope you all DO get the warm fuzzies from it, in case that wasn't clear. I'm not sure what the official breakdown is, but I do know plenty of people who absolutely loved every second of their 40 weeks. Your feelings about your pregnancy are valid, whatever they are

@kadeephd WE are expecting a child. I am pregnant. Them’s the rules.
preggo or preggers sounds like a desperate attempt to not be too precious, which in turn becomes precious. “I’m cool and chill. I’m a preggo.” Blargh.
which makes me wonder how you could truly avoid being overly precious and the best I could come up with is to stare blankly at people when they ask if you’re pregnant and otherwise never mention it. I can see myself at 36 weeks. “What do you mean, when am I due?”

@AGK2015 I'm still just trying to figure out a life without potatoes. I have potatoes or sweet potatoes probably 3-4 times a week! Not to mention french fries, I mean wow! Honestly, I'm impressed! Also, +1 to everything you wrote about pregnancy. I think it's so, so, so important for FTMs to know that it's okay if you hate being pregnant. Because honestly? It can be incredibly difficult. I had awful morning sickness the first time around, then ended up with sciatic nerve pain so bad I had to walk with a cane the last couple months. I hated it. Love my daughter, so, so grateful to be pregnant again after 2 losses, but yeah, pregnancy is not a walk in the park for many of us and it's fine to say so!

I do keep trying the whole potato thing from time to time! And every time, without fail, they're still pretty gross.

Not a fan of Seinfeld, have an okay relationship with potatoes and on the fence about the "preggers" thing. I wouldnt refer to myself as that. My DH definitely doesn't say "we", he knows better lol.
