  • 1. When is your EDD/how far along?

    I’m 5w5d today and due 11/19

    2. Any appointments this week?

My first ultrasound is this Tuesday and I’m so excited!!!!

    3. Symptoms?
I had the slightest touch of morning sickness the past few days so I’m worried it’s about to ramp up. Other than that I had an emotional breakdown in the grocery store the other day because I really wanted a turkey sandwich and I’ve been vegetarian for 5 years. My husband was confused and amused at the same time.

    4. GTKY: What is your favorite hobby?
So my favorite hobby is video games. I know that sounds crazy but I come from a family of people in the gaming industry and I started young and I can’t stop lol. My husband always jokes that I’ll have to give up gaming once the baby comes but I’m sure I’ll find a way to continue lol.

    1. When is your EDD/how far along?
    Today I'm 5 weeks 6 days!  Due 11/18!

    2. Any appointments this week?
Edit: So much for not having an appointment until 4/2.  I had some blood today when I went to the restroom so I called my doctor and I will be going in for an U/S tomorrow at 9:15 am.

    3. Symptoms?
I'm sooooo tired!  I slept for almost 10 hours and now all I want it to take a nap!  I have sore boobs off and on and very very occasional MS.

    4. GTKY: What is your favorite hobby?
Knitting and gaming (some times at the same time like when I am playing with hubs and I can just turn on follow ). Knitting gives me something to do with my hands with helps with my ADD since I can't take anything for it!  Gaming because it's so much fun!

  • @linz36 I play a little bit of everything, usually what strikes my fancy at the moment (I usually have several games going at once)  Right now I'm playing WoW with hubs on the computer, and playing Lego Marvel Superheros 2 on the Switch (we are staying at my parent's right now while we are selling our house so we only have the Switch out right now )

  • Apologize if this looks a bit wonky, first time responding via the app.

    1. When is your EDD/how far along?
EDD is November 27 but I’ll likely have a c section several weeks before due to needing to be on blood thinners. I’m 4w5d!

    2. Any appointments this week?
My RE said they were happy with my blood work last week and didn’t feel the need for additional level monitoring this week, but if I wanted to I could. I’m going to go once, on Tuesday, just to put my mind at ease. Other than that, really looking forward to our first u/s at 6w1d on 4/4!!

    3. Symptoms?
My boobs are sore every day and I do notice myself being a lot thirstier than normal, thus having to pee more frequently. I’ve also had some cramps/twinges that my doctors attributed to either round ligament pain or uterus expansion. Oh, and I’ve had heartburn. So far, not too bad! Hoping to stave off morning sickness for at least a few more weeks.

    4. GTKY: What is your favorite hobby?
I am a classically trained pianist so I’d have to say playing the piano, although I don’t get to enjoy it as much as I’d like to because of my busy work schedule.

So so excited to finally be a FTM with you ladies! ❤️

  • @ginny_203 I love the piano. I can only tinker on it here and there but I would love it if my children played!!!

@marfi236 I have never played WOW but I'm sure I would be just as addicted to that as I am to ESO lol. I have the switch as well but I'm not spending too much time on it which has surprised me.

As for symptoms, yesterday I noticed a decrease in my breast tenderness and I had a nervous breakdown. They are sore again today so I feel a little better but I'm definitely on edge. Dr. Google does not help. I know it can be normal and worry isn't always logical. But I know I'll feel better after my ultrasound on tuesday as long as everything is okay.

    1. When is your EDD/how far along?
EDD 11/20/18 **EDIT** I may only be 4 weeks with EDD of 11/29/18 because of long cycles.

    2. Any appointments this week?
First one with my OBGYN on Tues

    3. Symptoms?
Swollen tender breasts, bad heartburn, trouble sleeping, increased sense of smell, and crazy food cravings. I have HATED broccoli my entire life, from like 4 years old until about a week ago. Now I can't get enough of it!

    4. GTKY: What is your favorite hobby?
I have so many lol! I am a full time student, so my free time is limited but I enjoy reading, playing guitar, polymer clay crafting, and play ESO with my other half. I also enjoy going to the shooting range and going to the movies!

@linz36 Been playing ESO on PC for about 2 months now, I'm hooked!!!

    2. Any appointments this week? Nope, nothing until APril 12th

    3. Symptoms? I am so backed up it's not even funny. I have to call the dr today because I can't take it anymore and the softeners are not working. I'm also tired, having bouts of MS, and still having back pain.

    4. GTKY: What is your favorite hobby?
I used to coach cheer and I loved doing that! It took up most of my time, but I stopped last year because of my wedding. I am still looking for something to do to take the place of it.

EDD is 11/19. I'm exactly 6 weeks today (well according to LMP).

    2. Any appointments this week?
Nope, not until 4/11,  I'm so anxious.

    3. Symptoms?
Decreased soreness of my boobs, which of course I panicked and had so many thoughts run through my mind. POAS again this morning just to see the BFP for reassurance (anyone this crazy ha). That's really it, and being exhausted all the time. although every night when I go to bed I feel like my legs are restless and I cant get comfortable.

    4. GTKY: What is your favorite hobby?
I love to dance and also be outside (hiking, gardening, bbqing, etc).

@tessiesmom26, my best friend coaches at an all star cheer gym. I love going to support her team. So nyah fun!!

    2. Any appointments this week?
YES--my first ultrasound is tomorrow.  I'm super nervous.

    3. Symptoms?
Tired (but mostly from worrying), just slightly queasy (in the afternoon), peeing all the time, gas (just me?), sore boobs, and more moody than normal.

    4. GTKY: What is your favorite hobby?
I used to love running, but not so much these days.  I like walking outside when it's warmer.  Most days though I just enjoy watching Netflix in bed.  :)

@jkmartin723 yay due date twins lol. I’m so glad you mentioned the decreased soreness of your breasts. That happened to me two days ago and I panicked. Overall they are still sore just not as bad as they were. And yes I POAS as well just to check.

    1. When is your EDD/how far along? I'm either 5 weeks exactly or 5w6d. We're still waiting on an ultrasound which should give us a better idea of where we're measuring. Between irregular cycles and high HCG, it's either a slightly different O date or twins.

    2. Any appointments this week? Nope. First ultrasound is April 5th which feels so far away.

    3. Symptoms? I'm so tired, my breasts hurt and I have some lovely morning sickness about 7pm each night. There has also been a few hormonal moments. Oh and gas! So much gas.

    4. GTKY: What is your favorite hobby?
I love to read- like a new book a day usually. I'm a bit too sleepy to stick to that at the moment but I'm trying because my to read pile is getting bigger and bigger as holds come in from the library.
  • @linz36 can't wait to hear about your scan!

  • 1. When is your EDD/how far along? Based on LMP I'm due on Nov 17th!

    2. Any appointments this week? Had my first appointment with my GP, but we don't have our first ultrasound until April 16th, when we will hopefully be able to hear/see a heartbeat!

    3. Symptoms? oh boy, the fatigue is REAL! - fell asleep at work today (very briefly!). Super sore boobs, and lots of bloating/constipation. I can't seem to drink enough water! And the dreams have definitely started, had a pretty vivid one about having twins last night.... I am a fraternal twin myself, so I know that increases my chances - twins would be great!

    4. GTKY: What is your favorite hobby?
Anything outside! Especially with my dog or my family's dogs (there are 7 of them all together). Excited to be getting into spring here in Canada so I can spend more time outside again without freezing!

  • 1. When is your EDD/how far along? according to last period 11/21 so I am 5 weeks 6 days.

    2. Any appointments this week?
No. My first appointment isn’t until April 20th.
it feels like it is so far away!

    3. Symptoms? Anxious, Tired, bloated and sore boobs.

    4. GTKY: What is your favorite hobby? I love crafting and reading!
  • 1. When is your EDD/how far along? November 15, might change after first appointment. I'm 6w5d today.

    2. Any appointments this week? Nope. First one is next week and I can't wait! I got my bfp pretty early so it has felt like an eternity. :)

    3. Symptoms? The past week has been rough--constant nausea and food aversions to basically everything.  I pretty much have to be snacking on saltines all day to make it through work (my coworkers will definitely be on to me soon!) Super tired, sore boobs, digestion issues.

    4. GTKY: What is your favorite hobby?
I'm a big reader but the fatigue had made that a little challenging lately. Also enjoy listening to podcasts.
  • @linz36 OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations!!! Did you/your doctors have any inkling that you were pregnant with twins before your ultrasound, or was it a complete surprise?
  • @ginny_203 I had a feeling it was twins. I had one big follie and two smaller follies the day that I triggered so I knew it was a risk. Although my RE told me he didn’t think the smaller two were contenders. Then I’ve just been so exhausted. I know it’s supposed to be normal but it just seemed out of character...I started to think it was my thyroid. Then, three different people told me they thought I was having twins. Like three random different people. So yesterday I was quietly waiting for the RE to tell me there was two but when she did I wasn’t prepared lol. Just started crying tears of joy and fear lol. I’m so thankful but scared at the same time. Totally weird.
