Fibroids

I've been in pain for nearly a week now. Pain is located in lower right side of abdomen. Its constant and its not alleviated by showers, baths, heating pads or Tylenol. It feels like a constant dull ache and also a stabbing pain simultaneously. Finally went to dr yesterday and he thinks a newly formed fibroid must be causing all of this pain. He said the only thing to do is manage the pain with Norco.

Has anyone else encountered something like this? I tried to go without the Norco all day today and I felt like I was literally going to die.
