I am so sorry you are going through this. I am also going through a period of waiting and yet DH and I have been blessed by peace that is indescribable (leaning on prayer and scripture and handing everything back to God and also remembering that He works miracles everyday and the power of prayer is insurmountable!) - and it has been so hard but I want you to know you are not alone and pregnancy is scary - and I have prayed for you (not by name since I can't pronounce xxkberxx ) and that you can find the same peace during this time.
@xxkberxx I’m sorry you didn’t get the greatest news, but I’m so happy they are getting you to see a good specialist ASAP. I hope all of the interventions they recommend help both of those precious boys continue to grow as big and strong as possible, and I’ll be praying for peace for you and DH on this journey, no matter where it takes you.

We had our 16 week appt and gender scan yesterday. Everything looks great, baby had fist up to mouth possibly sucking thumb and legs casually crossed, just chillin. Little Roo also did plenty of wiggling and kicking that is going to be something else as she/he gets bigger! I found out I have an anterior placenta so probably no strong feelings for a little while yet, womp womp. We had them put the gender info in an envelope and we are having family over for supper tomorrow to find out all together. Y'all, I am dyyyying trying not to open this envelope!!
@Car0liiine I would have opened it already! I’m hoping to find out the sex of ours today and told DH I would FaceTime him. He was going to come with but he is sick and already had to go to the doctor today and doesn’t want to go back. If he’s nice I will “remember” to FaceTime him for the u/s. If not I get to find out first *evil laugh*. (Or not... maybe we have to wait for the a/s.)
@Car0liiine@yosemite2018 am I a terrible person if I told DH over text after I got the phone call about our NIPT results? I briefly thought about doing something cute and creative and failed to come up with anything.
@nackie nope! I am going to FaceTime him because I don’t have the energy to tell him in a cute way. He can find out with me. Or right after me. Haha. We are doing a reveal for our families and our friends (they are doing a double reveal with us!), but DH and I are impatient and like to know things asap.
@nackie I just texted my husband, "test results are back and they are all low risk or normal. So far he appears to be perfectly healthy." Just slipping the "he" in there was the closest I got to being cute or clever. We did cute stuff last time, but this go round it's all about just survival so far. I'm hoping to do some cute family/maternity pictures or something when hubby gets home, but for now it's just trying to make it from one day to the next.
With our first we had them put it in an envelope too. But then I couldn't think of what I wanted to do for a gender reveal and kind of wanted it to be a private moment. So DH and I watched the ultrasound video and tried to guess, then opened the envelope together. I'm kind of reluctant to find out in front of everyone. What if we have a moment of disappointment and it shows on our faces? FX that doesn't happen, lol. But either way, I would never want to find out without DH, I just wouldn't enjoy it unless I was sharing it with him.
