Yes. 36 weeks and baby dropped as well, waddling has become my middle name lol I am also 4”11 and pre preg weight was 90 lbs I’m not used to carrying around so much extra weight but i keep reminding myself it is almost over and to find humor in it all
Ugh. 36 weeks, baby hasn't dropped and today my midwife was like, you're not going to go into labor early. My first was a c section, and I'm going to try for a vbac if I go into labor before my due date... but if I make it to my due date, I have a c section scheduled. I really want to vbac... my midwife knows this, so it was pretty obnoxious for her to essentially be like, nope... not going to happen. And seriously, can you really tell 4 weeks out? Just unnecessarily frustrated.
@Radishes not sure why she told you that. My 1st 2 babies dropped after 36 weeks. My 1st was 38 and my 2nd 37. Both vaginal births. This one has been since 36 weeks but I'm sure it's because I'm body just knows what to do at this point. Lol.
I *think* baby has dropped. She looks heaps lower and definitely getting some more frequent lightning crotchy feelings and what I can only describe as zingy crampy feelings where my thighs meet my pelvis from time to time. Lots of ball bouncing has helped alleviate pelvic pain and maybe also brought her down?
So many fun new symptoms at 37 weeks! I definitely am getting the lightning crotch shooting pains. My baby has dropped (is “engaged” according to my doctor). Every time she moves I get some really interesting sensations down there. Also (TMI), can anyone else relate to this? - every time I have gas, I feel like I might be going into labor hahaha. Also, doc gave me a maternity support belt this week that gave me relief in places I didn’t even know I was hurting. Highly recommend.
Random and mild period like cramps (aparently normal around this stage.) And I have thrush with only 2 weeks and 4 days to go. It's so uncomfortable and I need it gone before baby girl arrives! I've been lucky as it's the first time having it during this pregnancy. It's just so annoying!
@jkatkins I don't know, either. Maybe she was just in a bad mood...
sooooo... has anyone else done property damage with late pregnancy baby brain? I just scraped a line of paint down to the metal off my car door. Thankfully it was on a post and not another car, but yikes! Thanks baby brain!
