  Given that "In Jewish Mythology, Mazikeen are invisible demons which can create minor annoyances or greater dangers" why on earth would you want to name your child that?

  I first read it as Makenzie and loved it but im not a fan at all of Mazikeen and really don’t like it now that @kpc914 pointed out the meaning. I’m all for uncommon names but this one is too out there for me.

  My impression of the name when I read it was that it's very unusual and maybe a bit harsh/ angry for a girl. Also I don't think it goes with your last name. What are the reasons you both like it? Maybe if you can single out the elements you can find alternatives that you still like.  Given @kcp914's information I'd also not want my child's name to have such a negative meaning.

  A quick google search states that Mazikeen is a demon in the form of a young woman and was Lucifer's best friend. First it doesn't sound nice and 2 it seems to be associated with demons. That's a no.
