@kyapplb I think that’s a good grade. You don’t want any Cs. But As and Bs are good. Of course As are better. But Bs should be fine.
I had a 5bb that stuck. **TW** it was CP, but it did stick! ***end TW***

@kyapplb Are they PGS tested? My nurse told me that if they are PGS tested and normal it’s about a 5% swing from A to C. And @prudence9-2 is right A and B are really good!! Mine are 4 6BB(all females) and 1 6BA(male)
My office calls anything graded a or b excellent quality. I have two 6bb embryos and they were very happy with those results. Have yet to see if one of them will stick though. We did get ours PGS tested. We actually had to get those re-tested and when we were talking about thawing and refreezing our embryologist said with that quality rating they are strong embryos.
4AA is my highest grade. You see ladies on here with 5's however my clinic told me that they see those pretty infrequently. My lab is very, very strict with the grading and even though they're using the Gardiner Grading System which is standardized, they are very conservative with it and rarely give out A grades, so it can depend on how your lab runs as well. My RE said they really only care about the fist letter grade because that is associated with the mass of cells that actually makes the baby. The second letter grade corresponds to the cells that make the placenta and they're not as concerned with those. If you scour the Internet you will find plenty of ladies who have had failures with 5AA embryos (and even PGS tested ones) and then go on to have success with their last "worst quality" embryo which is maybe a day 6 grade 3 blast. The grading system is only visually qualitative, it tells you nothing about whether that embryo is chromosomally normal or its ability to become a healthy baby at blastocyst stage.
