Thought this May be fun while also informative for FTM. I love reading to my girls each night and probably have too many books but as I picked up my favorite this evening I thought it may be a fun thread for others.
@mempartyof3 I love that book! It's actually a birthday tradition in our house that I read that book to the birthday child before bed.
My favorites are: A Million Chameleons (sadly out of print, but was mine from Childhood) Goodnight, Goodnight Construction Site (Shari Duskey Rinker) and Little Excavator (Anna Dewdney)
Everything is Mama! Also by Jimmy Fallon and one of my personal favorites to read
Little Bear Needs Glasses is currently his absolute favorite. It's an Usborne Books and More book. It has removable glasses that are kind of like window clings that you take from one animal and place them on Little Bear to see if they fit him. At the end, you put everyone's glasses on and DS loves piling them on to Little Bear.

@mayday31 just ordered Goodnight, Goodnight Construction Site for my son's Easter basket and @pink_polkadots ordered In My Heart for my daughter's! Love this thread!
We have really enjoyed the Fancy Nancy series for my 4 year old. It is fun to hear her using the words she hears in the book. My DS just took an interest in books this week. He is 19 months. I was getting a bit concerned because he truly was uninterested, but it has finally clicked. He has been grabbing books from Daniel Tiger to read. Surprisingly his first choice was "Meet the New Baby" in the Daniel Tiger series!
@pink_polkadots it arrived last night (hooray prime same day!) and it is beautiful! I absolutely love the way the heart goes throughout the book. I can hardly wait for Easter!
@wannaflickone My DS took a while to be interested in books also. I really like Daniel Tiger, he has great lessons in all his books/shows. (Yeah for Mr. Rogers Neighborhood reboot!)

Two of our favorite books to read.
My DS loves any books about race cars. My DH has a '68 Camaro he races in the 1/4 mile. My son LOVES it!
Loove this book. I have it memorized. It has a great rhythm and rhyme, and the illustrations are stunning. My favorite part..
"Even when I look a mess,
I still don't like me any less.
Cause nothing in this world ya know
Can change what's deep inside
And so...
No matter if they stop and stare
No person, ever, anywhere
Can make me feel
That what they see
Is all there really is to me..."
