Baby kicking

Hello! This is my first baby, so my first time on here. I am 16 weeks and have already felt the baby kicking. It feels like being poked and then every so often I feel a little "sweeping" motion, not like a fluttering. Or I felt a rolling motion, like she is moving all over.
I am wondering if anyone else around this due date has felt Baby this early, especially if this is your first. I am just looking for comparisons since this is my first pregnancy and I know this is considered early to feel movement. I am not sure if it makes a difference but I am not a big person by any means.

Yes, several people here have felt movement over the past few weeks. It seems early, but not outside the bell curve. You should take the time to post an introduction in the Into thread, and read the "Read First" thread. We'd love to have you join our little community, but we're a fair amount more structured than many other pregnancy boards. Congrats on your pregnancy!

I've been feeling a few little movements, mostly when I'm laying still in bed on my back. Mostly just little flutters of what feels like a muscle twitching or like a feather brushing inside me, but nothing like a blatant kick yet.

You described this perfectly. You definitely have a way with words. Have you ever thought about writing a blog or something. I don’t know if you are already a writer of some sort, but every time I read your post I say “she should be a writer”.

Yep. 16 weeks with my first and around 14 weeks with this one. Like pp stated- read the pinned posts and intro in the designited thread. If you had read almost any thread in this group you would have seen others feeling it too, or asked in the symptoms thread.

3rd time mom here, I’ve been feeling the ‘butterflies’ on the inside off and on for about a month. So around 14-15 weeks. Last night I had a hand resting on my stomach as I was falling asleep, and started to feel actual kicks on the outside. Felt like, what I imagine, ripples on a lake feel like. Just kind of a pint then small outward circles.

This. Join the group and find your fellow FTM’s or any of us in the symptoms or fandoms thread - we’ve been discussing this a lot.

I totally recommend starting with an intro which will help you figure out who you have what in common with.

A few years ago a friend suggested I start a blog about my life as a housewife in the sticks and documenting all that I do throughout the year, like from gardening, to canning, to raising rabbits/chickens for meat, to taking care of my elderly family, to hunting, to making dinners and desserts for others. But I honestly can't think that anyone but maybe she or my husband's family would find it interesting and there has to be a multitude of similar blogs out there already. lol
