First meeting with the MFM/high-risk OB tomorrow afternoon, yippy skippy. Let's all hope it goes better than the dietitian appointment did, although according to the reminder, she'll be there too. *rolls eyes*
I have an appointment Wednesday. Just the doppler and probably being yelled at for gaining too much weight this last month. Anatomy scan isn't til the 30th!
Another level 2 ultrasound tomorrow (16w+3). Got talked to by both my ob and mfm on Friday for losing too much weight so far. It is so frustrating because I have been supplementing with smoothies and ensure, but Crohns isn't playing nice. Docs want extra measuring scans to make sure babe continues to grow.
Appointment on Thursday. I’m also expecting to get told that I’ve gained too much weight this month. I think it’s also just the Doppler but I have my anatomy scan the next week. Can’t wait for that,
Regular appointment scheduled Wednesday and anatomy scan won't be until March 28th. Last time she used the hand held ultrasound and I began wondering if the screen is large enough to see the sex? I might ask if she can use it to see at the appointment. If she says no I wouldn't mind, but it'd be nice if she did/could
16 week appointment a few days late on Monday. Nurse couldn't find the heartbeat (not the first time that's happened). 30 min drive later, the ultrasound tech showed me a happy, kicking baby boy. Next appointment is the 20 week April 2. @meeks2020 it can't hurt to ask. Hopefully you get a sneak peek. @neeraja_k hope this appointment goes better!
Have an appointment Thursday. Too early for anatomy scan, but they are doing an u/s and hoping to find out the sex. Honestly they didn't give me a reason except it will have been 3 weeks since my last appointment. I'm fine with it though because I had been going weekly so my PGAL brain is giving me anxiety.
His three plus my one; we are all excited to welcome a little one!
I also have an appt on thurs at 16.6 weeks. Just expecting plain old urine and Doppler. Ready to hear that sweet heartbeat again though, a month is too long
I had my spina bifida screening/placenta blood test and a doppler on Monday, baby's heart sounded great. Waiting to hear back on blood tests, hopefully today. Scheduled anatomy scan for 3/26, can't wait!

I have my 19 week a/s tomorrow! Have been having hardcore PGAL brain lately so I am really happy it's finally here. Good luck ladies on all your appts!
Solidarity to all the ladies having PGAL brain! Me too. I have an appointment on Friday at 16 weeks. I cannot wait to hear the heartbeat again. Hopefully I will schedule the AS as well.
I also had my first Centering appointment today! It was good, I think. There were six of us, four FTMs, and another mom with a two-year old like me. Three of the FTMs brought partners with them. We all did blood pressure and weight, and one by one the midwife took us in the corner and found the baby's heart beat (mine was all good, around 150). We all got notebooks to record our stats and follow along with the discussion and activities.
Then we sat around and ate snacks and went over the basics of how this would work. And then we talked about prenatal testing and gestational diabetes and nutrition. Everyone seemed nice, so I think it'll just take some time for us to feel more comfortable with each other. As it was, it was a little awkward. But I find most social situations awkward.
I have an appointment tomorrow! I see my OB once a month at this point. It’ll just be a Doppler and quick check up, but I’m excited to hear the heartbeat. My anxiety has been through the roof lately, so it’ll be nice to have this appointment and hear that amazing HB!
@ecwk Yeah, I was thinking that you probably got exactly the same notebook that I did. I'm curious to know if it is the same as they used 2 years ago, and how the experience differs the second time around. It's a really new program in my area, so I think it's brand new for all of us, including the midwife.
My appointment went well this morning. Short and sweet. The doctor brought out the handheld (I guess she's doing it at every appointment?) And so I asked her if she could tell and like I posted in the boy/girl poll, I'm staying a boy mom!
Appointment tomorrow morning at 17+6. Just a standard Doppler heart beat check, etc. More nervous than I expected, possibly because I'm not feeling movement yet. I know it's totally normal not to as a FTM, but it sure would be reassuring!
I have a regular check up tomorrow morning. Probably just Doppler and urine. However, it's my first appointment since being on the hospital for the brain bleed. The ob came to see me at the hospital and completely tried to retract what she said and stated how glad she was that I followed her advice and went to ER. Smh, not what happened lady. They're also supposed to be coordinating with a MFM but I don't really believe her at this point. I'm going to ask her what her plan of care is for me and be prepared to switch providers if she isn't on the ball. So, nervous to go in after what happened but I do think baby is all good. Started feeling more movement, which is the best.
@rocknrrollmom how annoying of your OB. I hope your appointment goes okay and she is on top of things.
My appointment went well. No scolding from my doctor either about the weight gain. Just heard heartbeat on the Doppler, blood pressure, and peed in a cup.
@rocknrollmom - that sounds like a good plan! And seriously, if she's going to pretend that she didn't just try to brush it off as 'normal' pregnancy stuff I'd be livid. Sorry you're dealing with this but sooooo happy you listed to your gut and went to the ER!
My appointment went fine! Doppler, blood pressure and peed in a cup. Only trick was my doctor got called away to an emergency so I saw the nurse practitioner, which was totally fine with me!
@rocknrollmom she just doesn’t want to get sued! But that’s messed up. She owes you an apology. Classic example of a doctor minimizing a woman’s symptoms and it happens all the time. Ugh.
Appointment went well! Baby’s HB was 155, she did the vbac calculator which came back at 58% which is common for someone who had a csection the first time around. Everyone I’ve talked to has really encouraged me to try for it because the situation was all over with DS and it will hopefully be better and full term this time.

Appointment went well this morning. Met with a different ob in the practice and she was much better and on top of everything. She was surprised I hadn't heard from the MFM they've been coordinating with yet and assured me she would reach out to make sure it happened. They called to schedule me in next week. She did say that I will most likely have a c section because I shouldn't risk pushing after a brain bleed. I was expecting that news but still really hard to accept. I felt very empowered by the birth I had with DD and was hoping for that again. I'm working on being grateful that we're going to make everything as safe as possible and remain healthy. Hopefully, this thing resolves itself by then and I won't need surgery on my head after baby comes
Re: Weekly Appointments w/o 3/5
prenatal appt thurs at 18w (I’m off kilter). The pgal brain has crept back lately so I’m glad I have a hb check
11/18/16 missed m/c 9w1
08/03/17 no hb 8w
@meeks2020 it can't hurt to ask. Hopefully you get a sneak peek.
