1. I've run 2 half-marathons and countless 5ks and 10ks 2. I was got caught shoplifting at Target when I was 17 but they gave me a good talking-to and sent me on my way 3. I bought my first house on my own when I was 29
I've shoplifted, but I was 2 and took a pair of shoelaces off a rack when my mom wasn't looking. She marched my toddler butt back in the store to give them back
1. I've only had one sexual partner. (And I married him 15 years ago.) 2. I've traveled to all 50 states. 3. I was undercharged at a gas station and drove the 10 miles back to notify the clerk and pay the difference when I saw my erroneous receipt. (Corporate set the prices on the pumps and forgot a zero, so I filled up and paid $0.23/gal instead of $2.30/gal.)
1. DH and I got engaged after 3 months of dating - 2 of which we were not in the same state. ( We started dating a month before he went to GA for school for the Army and then he proposed when he got back. 13 years later, we're still kickin it) 2. I almost became a legal guardian to my SIL (half sister of my DH) when she was 12 because she was put into foster care in another state. Her dad did what he needed to do to get her back before the process was completed. (This was when I was pregnant with DS so 6 years ago. Her stepmom was beating her and she was placed into foster care for almost a year, but since we live in a different state, it was harder to become guardians immediately). 3. I work in Human Resources but my Masters is actually in History.
1. I have never gotten pulled over while driving. 2. I collected baseball cards and watched WWF wresting when I was a kid. 3. I have never traveled outside of the U.S.
I am not a world traveler, but I have traveled outside of the U.S. a few times!! Surprisingly, I am in my mid-30's and have never been pulled over. Hopefully I didn't just jinx myself. Also, it's not as though I drive super slow, I think I'm just lucky! I was also a super tomboy growing up and really did #2!
1. I met my husband while on a vacation in Israel 2. I danced on stage with the flaming lips 3. I waited on Bruce Willis when I worked at Starbucks
I only made Bruce Willis’ drink, he sent his assistant, but I did meet Nicole Kidman and Dave Chappelle when I worked at Starbucks.
I did meet my husband when I was on vacation in Israel and after a crazy long distance relationship for a year, I moved there and finally was able to get him over to the states.
I did dance on stage with the flaming lips, I got to dress in an alien costume. It was through a MySpace promotion, that’s how long ago that was lol
1. I won a contest from a local radio station and got to hang out a baseball game with Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson. This was when he was just a wrestler and hadn't moved on to acting yet . 2. I got caught underage drinking and had to, among other things, go witness an autopsy. I was a few feet away from the dead body of a man while he was being cut open. He shot himself in the head. 3. I have never had a cavity.
1. That actually happened to my sister not me.
2. It would be awesome if this was the lie but, Nope. It was the most horrifying thing I ever had to go through. The sights, sounds, smells...awful. There was a group of 4 of us. Me and two of my guy friends who I got caught with and some kid we didn't know. For a good part of it I just held on to my friend and screamed into his shirt. But, the people in charge kept saying "You Have to look". The kid we didn't know passed out. 3. Never had a cavity! No fillings in my mouth.
1. I used to sing the national anthem at sporting events. 2. I had dinner with Lindsay Lohan one time in LA and she was a total bitch to me. 3. I was Valedictorian of my high school class and got bullied a lot for it.
I was Salutatorian because this junior decided to graduate earlier and had a higher GPA than me from not having to take the same non-PreAP classes. I am still bitter 16 years later. Competitive much?

I did marry my High School sweetheart, been together for over 12 years now. I have always lived in Wisconsin and especially during the long winter months i fantasize about moving somewhere else. All of our support system is here and I couldn't imagine living that far away from my mom and sisters. I have never been to Jamaica but we plan on breaking that next December (cause it's cold here, anniversary is in August) to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary.
1. I got married at 19 years old. 2. I have never lived in another state 3. I have been to Jamaica three times
1. I worked for the World Series of Poker and used to play in the cash games with professional poker players after work. 2. I have 10 tattoos. - it's actually 11 3. I've lived in 8 different states in my life.
@calimom2524 nice! were you a dealer? Who did you play with?
I was a cage cashier. I worked the WSOP two years in a row for 2007 and 2008, played with Scotty Nguyen, Phil Hellmuth, Annie Duke, "the shark" which I can't remember his real name now, Chris Moneymaker, and Jennifer Tilly. I know there were more but I can't remember now and I also can't believe that was a decade ago lol
edit: I found this old school picture of me and Scotty haha

That's so awesome. Love watching Hellmuth, he's such a baby I saw Jennifer Tilly and Phil Laak at a tourney once but never spoke to her or anything!

Haha he's the biggest baby ever. I remember hanging out in valet with one of the other big wigs waiting for our cars and when his came up I was just like....holy shit I need to be a professional poker player. I cannot for the LIFE OF ME remember his name.
1. My first pet ever as a child or adult was my current 130lb newfoundland dog (go big or go home?). 2. I've done CPR only a few times personally and have never seen it be successful. 3. I "ranaway" to my backyard when I was 10 and lasted out there for almost 24 hours beforeI gave in and skulked back home.
this situation did happen multiple times when I was a kid, but I'm pretty sure I never lasted more than 2 hours. What a wimp.
@mrsbubbles-2 I wish it was too, but unfortunately the movies are nothing like real life. Not that miraculous things don't happen sometimes... Just not the norm in any way.
1. I have 2 tattoos 2. My husband and I bought 3 houses before we were 30 3. I have a degree in political science
A few of you guessed this because I think I've said it before. My degree is in journalism. Minors in English and "social sciences" which I think is the fancy way to say "political science." I had no idea I was going to minor in that and it makes me laugh because I hated those classes. Both of my tattoos are terrible and I hate them. And yes, we are on our 3rd house. First two were brand new, this one was built in 1965 and we have been renovating it. (FRT I will always buy older houses now. New houses are built like crap.) We're not rich, we're just smart with our money somehow. Plus it is way more expensive to rent than it is to buy.
3. I have never fallen asleep during class.
I woke up from an unexpected nap yesterday to comment on the original thread. I hate being sick, it makes it so hard to not hibernate my days/weeks away.

1. I worked for Lin-Manuel Miranda. 2. I studied abroad in Italy. 3. I went to 11 different countries while in utero.
I worked on In the Heights when it opened on Broadway 10 years ago today, and got to know Lin-Manuel Miranda a bit. He's amazing and a total sweetheart.
I always wanted to study abroad but my college (a fancy art school) didn't really have true study abroad programs, they were like 2 weeks in the summer, not a whole semester, so I went to England and stayed with a friend and traveled around on my own for 2 weeks one summer. It was amazing though!
My dad was in the army and my parents were stationed in Germany for 4 years. They would travel almost every weekend and they did a lot of it while pregnant with me. We traveled quite a bit more before we moved back to the US when I was 1.5 but I obviously don't remember any of the places I visited so I don't really count them when people ask where I've been.

Oops I meant to come back to that thread and guess more!
1) I was a competitive runner my whole life, and ran division 1 on scholarship. I ran a marathon as an adult and currently am in the worst shape of my life. 2) before I had kids I had a promising career with target and was on track to get own store. But I found the retail schedule (especially holidays) difficult with kids and left completely. 3) I now live less than 2 miles from both of my sisters and 5 minutes from my parents. Our kids will be at the same elementary school and other than my oldest, they will have cousins in their grades. We are very close and dh has called us a leave it to beaver family.
1&3 are 100% true - I was a competitive runner simce I was little, was all state every year both seasons and all New England 3x. Post baby I need tl get back to it. And my family is the best, and I so hope for that closeness for my own family.
as for 2, I did work for target after college, I really lived it in my first store but my second store the district and manager were awful and it was so stressful. I left and went to work for my dad. It was years before kids. Dh is a retail pharmacist though and it is the truth that it’s tough with a family!!!
1) I've never had a big birthday bash (e.g. sweet 16). 2) At 20, I'm getting set up to be the partial owner of a real estate business and will be able to be a stay at home mom. 3) I had a fully customized motorcycle at 17.
I had a quinceanera and afterwards we went to Disney for a week. I wore my tiara and birthday badge every single day we went to Disney and soaked it up every time the characters said "HAPPY BIRTHDAY PRINCESS!" Definitely my favorite birthday. The hubster and I had a Vegas trip planned for my 21st coming up in July but then this kiddo came along and changed our plans.
1. I’ve tried to go vegan several times, but it seems can’t live without cheese.
2. I played on my golf team in high school but I haven’t played golf since I was 18.
3. I didn’t have my first alcoholic drink until I went to college.
3 is the lie but it was true for a really good friend of mine. I think she started drinking our sophomore year and became just as crazy as the rest of us.
Before I was a stay at home wife/mom I had several interesting jobs:
1) a clown 2) professional poker player 3) suicide hotline operator
I really was a clown for festivals for a bit as a kid/teen, but I never got paid for it. It was a strictly volunteer gig. I liked making balloon animals. My MIL is a legit clown and does both paid and volunteer gigs, as well as going to the national conventions. My older kids did it with her when they were young, and DSD was a pretty good face painter.

This was hard for me! I’m boring!
3 is true for me! I was really good in hs, and too serious about running to risk messing anything up. I definitely had fun in college (thank god I went before social media lol)
1. I built a house for a starting Dallas Cowboy * strong safety Jeff Heath and his (now wife) Paige - she was an ex DCC - two of the nicest people ever 2. I built a cabin for the governor of Missouri * Governor Jay Nixon helped fund through grants the rebuild of a century old cabin in a Missouri park, which was challenging (to match similar carpentry and techniques used in the 1800’s) but so much fun 3. I built an addition for a famous Country singer * Did an addition for an older man who was FRIEND’s with Sammy Kershaw, and gave us tickets- one of my favs - but the build was for someone else. Darn it
