Anyone else's pet know something is up?! My one year old lab is more clingy than normal and always lying on my tummy. I'm only 5 weeks and can't believe she knows already!
Me 33 DH 41 TTC since 2016 Due: October 12, 2018 Location: Ontario, Canada
I looked into this once we found out because of my cat and dog. They can tell changes in scent, which with all the hormonal changes has happened. From what I read, dogs will become more protective.
My brother's dog definitely knew my sister-in-law was pregnant before she even did.

My dog has figured out (really fast) that his evening snack moved from 10:15ish to 8ish. Unfortunately, this also means he wants to go out at 2am instead of 4:30am.
I have a husky and he knew before I knew. He won’t even let hubby sit next to me he will cry and howl until he moves and he always wants to sit or lay beside me. I get no peace!!
Mine too! Well the male, he used to not be so affectionate and now all he wants is for me to cuddle him. My female cat hates me now though it's so weird!
My dog has started growling at the mail carrier. Maybe he has been doing it for a while, and I just noticed? He didn’t used to do this though. I just noticed last week.
I wondered if mine knew as well! He’s switched from sleeping sprawled out in our bed (luckily he’s only 11 lbs) to sleeping right up next to me, usually right below my stomach. We always wondered how he’d act with a baby because he’s always been pretty needy and visually jealous. When my niece was born and me or DH would hold her, he would whine, pout and either claw at our legs or try desperately to get in our laps if we were sitting. He still gets right up in between my MIL and my neices and nephew if she has them in her lap because she HAS to hold him too. Luckily they’re 4, 5, and 7 so they think it’s funny. My dog does not haha
I don’t think my dog knows anything, but he’s pretty dopey. I wouldn’t say he’s dumb, I think he’s actually pretty smart as he learns tricks really quickly and I have read that Goldens are one of the smartest breeds, however he’s a derp. Maybe once I have more of a belly hel’ll figure it out?
I have two Golden’s and I’m not sure if either know. They’re both pretty cuddly and stick right by me anyway, so it’s hard to tell if it’s increased yet. My older one definitely knew last time, I don’t think the younger one had any idea!
@aels12 Same here with regards to sticking close to me all the time anyway. My cat baby, Bagheera, is forever cold...so she's constantly on my stomach or in my lap stealing my body heat
My bulldog/pit mix is extra clingy and begging for attention all the time. Sits next to me and cries if I’m not touching him. I think he’s worse than the baby will be! He hates our basement normally but now he must always follow me down there. You know, in case there are monsters I need protection from!
My dog has known early both times. I really should have known sooner because of the way he’s been acting for weeks now. At bedtime he normally lays between us for a bit before heading to his bed. When I was KU with DS and now he sleeps all night against the back of my legs and won’t move.

My dog knew my sister was pregnant right away, and wouldn't leave her alone.
There is a thread full of adorable fur baby pics. It has dropped down a page or two. Hopefully this link works:
