  • @EErin86 that is beautiful!

I was supposed to travel Wednesday and Thursday this week for work, but it looks like the northeast is going to get another snow storm. I had considered cancelling because of the MS and flying in the evenings when it’s the worst. I decided I would try to go since I will only be there one more time this year, but I will not go with a big snow storm so...YAY!
  • @born2run911 good luck to you and your H! That sounds very exciting and scary for sure. I think it's worthwhile to be happy with your job since so you spend much time there and work so many years of your life. Feel free to vent to is though if times are tough and you're needing some moral support!
  • @born2run911 congrats for him that sounds great! Transitions are hard but you guys will make it through!
  • @born2run911 I am going through the SAME thing with MH right now <3 He will be making less money, but no longer working 60+ hour weeks. It is a great step for our family but the transitional period can also be scary.

@EErin86 They are so beautiful!! I want to go on a dog sled now...

  • Some creeper over in A18:
"I’m a regular.  And I’m not pregnant. You'd never know, the way I blend in with the rest of you.  It’s amazingly easy."
I mean, I am not surprised there is a lurker, but have you nothing better to do?
Also, I was not lurking over there. Ha. I have a friend in that group who told me.
  • stothi  Is O18 any good? My due date is Sept 29 and I was sad cause I was in an October group last time. We are in a FB group now and I talk to them every day. Could not have navigated being a FTM without them. Curious to see what this group is like in Sept.
  • @mrsman2018 sure. They seem to do more one off threads, which is neither good nor bad, just a matter of personal preference if one likes that or not.

I have to say that I have lurked on August 2018 before... mostly before Sept board was up in running but still do on occasion when I am extremely bored. I commented on a few of their posts for product recommendations but never formally introduced myself. With a Sept 2 due date, I guess I just felt also that I was more likely to have an August delivery date than Sept.

Thanks for all the kind words ladies! @southernlady07 good luck to you and your hubby also. It’s definitely worth it to be happier with your job even making less if it means you’re home more ❤️

Why would someone lurk around non pregnant that’s wild! Unless they were TTGP I could see it, but if not that’s just bizarre.
  • I'm catching up on The Bachelor now.  This show is so terrible. I only watch it because I love to read the blogs that mock it.  That might be a confession.

  • @crispy11 it’s understandable for things to get a little hectic and not be around all the time. People are more upset to think about a non preggo lurking and participating. Unfortunately, this is the internet so it is something that can happen anywhere you participate. I believe the vast majority of people on here are pregnant and use this as a resource to interact and commiserate with people going through similar things.

And it is okay to change your mind about being team green!
  • @stothi one of the things I'm really nervous about with 2 kids (both in daycare and exposed to lots of germs) is handling working full time and having commitments at work while my first priority is my kids. I'm contracted at multiple places, one of which I'm there 2 days a week (usually Tuesday and Friday), the rest of the time I'm at another facility seeing patients one on one in an outpatient setting. My overall job relies on me being present and scheduling appointments and actually seeing patients at my outpatient office to generate revenue; but there's also only one other dietitian available as back up to cover at the hospital I work at 2 days a week. Also, the two facilities are 30 minutes apart. So things get hairy if I need to unexpectedly stay home or leave early. I'm also expected to accommodate my schedule based on when patients can come in, so early mornings or late afternoon/evening is desirable, but I can't do that with my H traveling. So basically I need to have a sit down conversation with my manager to try and figure out how to handle this.
  • @nlc8424 that sounds stressful!
  • @nlc8424 hugs to you - that sounds super frustrating :( I’m sure I speak for others as well when I say that no one is sick of your “complaining”, and anyway it’s not complaining, it’s venting! Let it out girl!

Not a legitimate problem but I still need moral support: i have a wax appt after work and I’m like, dreading it. I want to cry. I need to be an adult lol. My skin is super sensitive and gets insanely itchy when I shave so I started waxing my legs/bikini line, but it takes so long and I am soooo self conscious and uncomfortable with the whole process. Plus, hormones make everything more painful, and it hurts my back and legs to lay in that awkward position for so long, and OMG what if I have to pee?  :'(
  • @klj0228 I’m the opposite of a lurker. I always comment when I stop by! And I could probably save it for UO but I didn’t think team green was soooo much better than finding out. Both are fun!
