Hi everyone!! I got my official BFP on February 28th, though I had seen a super faint positive line earlier in the week and figured it was an evap line because it was a little while after the 3 minute wait for the test...though my son had just started screaming in his crib and I had rushed out of the bathroom without really timing.
I'm 23, DH is 24, and our son just turned 1 year old in February. Needless to say it was a shock and it's still sinking in. I don't have any midwife appointments set up yet but I do plan to go to the same midwife run Birth House that I went to last time. By my calculations, my EDD is November 3rd! My birthday is at the end of Oct, so who knows...might get a little surprise gift since my son was a week early.
Letting it sink in, but I'm excited to be a November mama with you ladies!
Hi Ladies!!!! So got my 1st BFP last friday... barely visible.. and its just been getting stronger from there!!! I have my 1st doc appt next Thurs... but I did a due date calculator and it showed estimate DD as 11/3/18.. so I am jumping on over here for now This is my 2nd, my son will be 2 in May!! I'm 36 and DH is 43and we live in NJ!!! I dont remember how to do all of that ticker stuff.. but will learn again shortly!!!
nice to meet everyone!!
Where in NJ? I’m a Jersey native as well! We are due 11/1.
Hi! I’m Brooke, I’m a mommy to two little ladies ages 2 and 4 from Texas. Married to my wonderful hubby Chase for 5 years. This will be my 3rd pregnancy but my first pregnancy as a gestational surrogate. I am a Doula (birth and labor coach) and love all things birth and babies! Looking forward to sharing this journey with you ladies!
@bstiltz Welcome! One of my students parents has been a surrogate twice and I think its such an amazing thing! Before having my son I felt like I could never be one and give props to all that do. After having my son I have thought about it a few times for when we were done having kids but I think I am to old now (35 in Sept.). Props to you for taking that amazing journey for someone!
I just got my BFP last Sunday with an EDD of Nov 8. It was SUPPER faint, but definitely there. I've tested a few times since just to see the line get darker. Anyone else love seeing the line progress?
**trigger warning** this is the first positive test my DH and I have gotten since our loss in july at 10 weeks. It was devistating. I'm afraid to see blood again, but am trying to take one day at a time and be thankful for the positive test. **end trigger **
I'm 30 and my DH is 34. We have 2 DDs, age 3 and 4. We had them about 20 months apart. I love Doritos and sweet tea and already miss cold cut subs.
Let me just start by saying I’ve been a crying sobbing mess the past 2 days since I took a test because I am scared sh*tless. I am 30, my husband is 32. We had an unplanned pregnancy in 2012 that resulted in a miscarriage at 12 weeks. In April 2013 we decided to try again and conceived our daughter. She is 4, born January 2014. I’ll be quite honest here, I wasn’t sure if I wanted another baby. I am very happy with my little family of 3, and I also deal with change horribly (really bad anxiety), which is the reason for all the crying. I enjoyed participating in the january14 BMB, so I thought hopping on here would help me relax and be helpful in accepting this new life change. EDD is November 11, one day after hubby's birthday. Some other things about me... I am from Maryland, I love to sew and craft, I’m a huge animal lover, and I’m obsessed with all things Disney and Disney World. Thanks for having me ladies. Hugs to all!
@pink_polkadots I'm from Maryland too! I'm from Howard County. What part of Maryland are you from? I'm also a huge fan of Disney and Disney World! I'm sorry for all the emotions you're feeling right now. Hopefully you can find a way to relax and accept the changes to come, but I think those feelings are really normal too, so don't feel too guilty about it!
Hi ladies!! I am so excited to finally be able to post here! I just got my BFP this morning at only 8dpo and I am shocked!!! I have two DD ages 2.5 and 1 ☺️ I feel a little overwhelmed since I will be working full time, in school full time and pregnant for the 3rd time! We have been trying for #3 for 4 months now and so excited to see that second line on my test! For now my EDD is November 12th but I ovulated late so that may change at my first scan.. I was very active in my june 2015 group so I hope to be here as well. I am 26 and DH is 30 and we live in OH. I cannot wait to get to know you all a little better!!
I’m 34, turning 35 next month. H is 35 and we live in CT. Got our BFP about a week and a half ago. Based on LMP it’s looking like a Halloween baby.. I love it. But I’m staying here in November ‘18.
We have one daughter born November ‘15. They’ll be almost exactly 3 years apart, God willing.
I have a pretty busy life so I probably won’t be the most active poster but I’m looking forward to getting to know you all better!

@pink_polkadots@offtoneverland I'm so excited there are other Disney lovers in here!! I love Disney too, DH and I got engaged there in September '16. I was a regular on TK for years (different screen name) and so many people there hated Disney so I could never talk about it!

Hello all! Just got a +HPT this morning. I am going to call my OB and schedule betas probably for tomorrow and Thursday snd hopefully get on the books for an early ultrasound as well.
Due date per the calculators is 11/17.
I am 30 and H is 37 and I have been an active member of multiple online communities over the years. We have 2 boys that are 8 years old and 19 months old and are pretty awesome guys! My youngest S is seeing an endocrinologist due to growth (length) issues so you may see me mention that sometimes. We also have 2 dogs (a Vizsla pit bul mix that is 1 year old and a lab mix that is 5 months old) and 3 cats.
We started actively TTC baby #3 just a few months ago and I am shocked that I saw a second line this morning. I am very cautiously optimistic but trying not to get my hopes up. I probably won’t feel completely safe at any point but may feel better after 1st tri.
Full history in the spoiler for those interested but lots of TW for LC’s, high risk PG, and loss.
Ok, so I have an 8 year old DS that H and I conceived with no trouble at all on our first cycle TTC. Pregnancy was normal and other than HG no issues. Natural water birth outside of a hospital. We started TTC just before DS1 turned 3. I got PG right away again and we were thrilled! I was spotting though so we got betas and progesterone testing. My labs came back with low Progesterone but a good starting beta number. I started Progesterone that night and went in 2 days later but I was still spotting. The next beta was lower and my OB told me I was having a miscarriage likely due to the low Progesterone which she contributed to a non viable pregnancy. I took methotrexate once but I had retained tissue and had to take it again. We waited the recommended amount of time to TTC again and then got PG again very quickly. We made it to the first ultrasound and saw a baby with a good HB measuring right on track at almost 10 weeks. I wasn’t on progesterone then and my OB at the time didn’t think I needed a test for this one. Looking back I really should have pushed for it. A week later at almost 11 weeks along I had another m/c. I opted for methotrexate again. That same day I was laid off from my job. H and I decided to wait a few months to recover from the loss and to move. I had found a job a couple states away. So we sold our house and moved to where I could work. Once we settled in a bit (about 3 months after the last loss) we started TTC again. I started seeing a midwife practice and they did some RPL testing which is when it was discovered that I had MTHFR and low Progesterone. 6 months later I was PG again. I had betas done and they doubled each draw. I was on Progesterone and things were going ok. At 7 weeks PG I got up for work and felt... a pop internally (best way I can describe it). Then excruciating pain. I assumed I was having another m/c but my others never hurt this bad. I could barely move and all I could do was scream in pain. H called the MW who told him to rush me to the hospital. Which is where they doped me up with morphine and did an ultrasound. The tech saw lots of blood in my abdomen but couldn’t locate a pregnancy or see anything else. I was rushed into surgery for an exploratory laparoscopy. There they found a grapefruit sized cyst on my left ovary and an ectopic pregnancy that had implanted on my right ovary and had burst. The surgeon did save both my ovaries and I was told to TTA for 6 months and was referred to an RE for RPL history. During my 6 months on the bench my RE ordered a ton of testing and genetic screening. All came back normal for the most part aside from my MTHFR, low Progesterone, and borderline low AMH. The RE did give me onr additional DX of ovulatory dysfunction, basically my eggs grow but they don’t all release and burst forth like good ones do. Which also led that RE to believe I had low egg quality. I started on a slew of vitamins and supplements and read lots of books. By the time 6 months were up I was ready to start on Clomid. I did that for 4 months but my lining started thinning a lot. My RE moved atbthat point and I found a new one who did more testing just confirming the old RE’s DX’s. I started 6 rounds of Femara then with no success. Took a break from meds to reassess for a couple months with TTC as naturally as we could and decided to move on with injectible meds and IUI. 3 rounds of Gonal-F and IUI with no success and thin lining each time. Another HCG revealed that I had several polyps blocking my tubal openings which had to be removed. I had the polypectomy but we were feeling hopeless. We were talking about just giving up. My insurance does actually cover IVF at 90% but not at any clinics within my state. We started researching adoption and decided to do one more IUI while we were getting everything together with our agency. This IUI was awful. H’s sperm counts were low (though he had great ones previously) and my lining was measuring at a 5. The IUI was on my birthday and I remember crying the whole way home and the rest of the day. 2 weeks later I saw a positive HPT and I almost passed out I was in such shock. I was so hopeful, terrified, and a range of other emotions. Weeks went by and aside from HG (again) everything was normal. I passed all my milestones and ultrasounds all looked good. We stopped looking into adoption and became hopeful as we found out we were having another boy. Then at 23 weeks on the way to work I was in a car accident. My car vs a semi going 70 mph. I can’t recall much other than terror and screaming DS2’s name over and over again hoping he was ok and I wasn’t going to loose him after making it that far. Half my car was gone and somehow I survived. Thankfully no one else aside from me and the semi was involved. I was rushed to the ER where about 20 Dr’s were waiting for me. I had X-rays and CT scans and other tests done. I was not allowed to move and DS2 was being monitored for 24 hours with an intern assigned to sit by my bed the whole time.
I had a placental abrubtion but was stable otherwise. So, a long hospital stay and lots of bed rest later I was let out on strict orders not to do too much activity and to basically just go to work and come home to sit. The abrubtion appeared to be stable and with weekly monitoring and NST’s with my OB and also with my new MFM I was free. They induced me at 39 weeks and DS2, my miracle arrived. He is 18 months old now and we are ready to see if #3 could happen but we will have to be ok if it doesn’t. If I have another loss I will likely be done and be happy with my boys.
Hi Everyone, I’m so excited to have a community to talk to! This is my first pregnancy- I should be due 11/2. My first appoint is 3-19 and I can’t wait. I am 27 and DH is 37 he is beyond excited for first child. It’s been a crazy whirlwind the last couple weeks February was the first month we tried, I did preconception blood work and my thyroid levels were low so they put me on synthroid. I used the ovulation test, which was interesting but still really shocked it worked after trying not to get pregnant for years. Looking forward to getting to know everyone!! -rachel
@troystory17 I have friends who did a really cute reveal at Disney's Boardwalk. They had little Mickey shoes and the photos were gorgeous. I live too close to Disney to be a big fan of the parks, but I appreciate everything they do and their cruises are the best ever, even as a passenger without kids.

Disney is one thing I look forward to every year! We have gone every year since 2011, and I think this is the first year we actually won’t be able to go. (Cue intense sobbing and grown woman tantrum) We typically go the end of October for the food and wine festival but with baby’s potential due date of 11/11.... it’s cutting it too close.... although I may be down for a “I went in to labor at Cinderella’s castle” kinda deal....just sayin
Hi Everyone! I got my BFP last week, however due to breastfeeding we don't have an exact due date yet, but I'm guessing close to November 11. I am 31, DH is 30 and we live in WI. We have a son who is 2.5 (August 2015) and a daughter who will be 1 on the 17th (March 2017) so baby makes 3 in 3 years!
I love crafting and being active with my kiddos. So far we are planning on our third home birth, and will have our first midwife appointment after I get a dating ultrasound in the next few weeks!
Congratulations everyone, I look forward to getting to know you all better over then next 9 months!
EDD 11/3 ☺️ Currently a resident of Jersey, but in the middle of a move to Delaware. Timing wasn’t ideal (I wanted to wait until we were in the new house), but hey... I’ll take it!
I’m 33 and my H is 35 and we have a 3 year old daughter. We have a zoo—2 large dogs and a kitty cat as well. I’ve been running my Etsy store from home the past 3.5 years and SAH with baby girl.
Im looking forward to enjoying this pregnancy more, staying fit and getting to schedule my c section!
I am in complete shock that I am here. We've been working with a fertility clinic for a year (I have PCOS and rarely ovulate on my own) and had started the process to move on to IVF at a clinic out of state. Low and behold I actually ovulated on my own this cycle. I take my BBT (and did through my IUIs) so when it was still up today at 15dpo I took a test. *TW I had one loss in 2013 and one of my IUIs last summer was a loss (confirmed trisomy) /TW* so I am extremely anxious about this pregnancy. I had my progesterone and betas drawn today so we will see what they are and if they are doubling in the next few days.
I've been married almost 10 years, have a 3 year old son who is the light of our lives, and I work once a week as a nurse in the nursery. I love astronomy, photography, and am improving my crafting skills!

@mockingjay1Wow! That's incredible! FX for you and good luck with your beta. Let us know when you get the results back. @caybb352 So happy to see you here! What a crazy shock that this one worked out so quickly for you. I've got my fingers crossed! @pink_polkadots We went to Disney World for 2 days in 2016 and I'm just dying to go back. I totally get what you mean about throwing a temper tantrum after realizing we probably wouldn't be able to go this year. @PMForbie Omg, don't get me started on Disney cruises. I could talk about them all day. I love them so much. Our first two were without kids and it was just as much fun as going with our toddler. @troystory17 If you do a WDW reveal you'd better post pictures here! @tessiesmom26 The recent UO thread on August 18 had a bunch of people hating on Disney and it made me so sad. I don't get how people hate Disney! It's my favorite place ever. How fun you got engaged there. Was it a surprise or did you know about it in advance? MH and I honeymooned at WDW.
@pink_polkadots I to have difficulty with change and having my DS almost 3 years ago took a lot of patience and flexibility I didn't realize. (I am a teacher, I thought I had all the patience in the world until I had DS.) Although this pregnancy was planned I am also scared about the idea of having 2 kids and going bat shit crazy. I fortunately have both sets of grandparents and baby's Aunts and Uncles within 15 minutes of me. (Couple aunts are 1 hour.) I think I am going to rely on them more after this baby. I struggled giving up control with my DS and didn't leave him more then 1 hour with only my husband until he was like 2. He still has yet to spend a night away from me. I am going to have to jump that hurdle soon. I also love crafting and sewing as well! I just recently turned our spare room into my crafting room and unless we find a new house before this baby comes I will lose it. Oh well!
Hi! I got a bfp yesterday ❤ EDD is 11/12 just from my counting back days... im 23. DH is 24 and we have 14 month old, 2 dogs and a cat. I hope this little one sticks. ❤
Hi ladies! I found out two days ago after four days of being in denial that my period wasn’t coming. My husband and I have been TTC so are super excited to be adding a little brother/sister for our 2yo son but I started a new job last week so the timing’s not great. Having to change jobs was abrupt and unexpected and I feel really bad now to be pregnant. Hopefully they will be supportive but I think I’ll be anxious about it until I tell them, which I don’t plan on doing at least until after my first (or maybe second???) u/s. Oh! My EDD is 11/7. I’m 31, DH is 32, and our son will be 3 on 11/28. We also have a 14yo cockapoo, 5yo standard poodle, and recently added three fish to the family (for my son), because we needed to make things a little more hectic around here
Good morning! It’s taken us 5.5yrs to make it to this point where I can join a group. We just completed our first round of IVF after suffering with secondary infertility and 2 chemical miscarriages. It worked! We just found out that we are pregnant! Yaaaayyyy! My first ultrasound is next Monday! My DH and I have been together since Jan 2010 and he is the best stepfather to my 11yr old son. I’m still shocked that this worked the first time and I can tell my son that he will FINALLY be a big brother. ❤️
Hi N18'ers! I guess I go here now. I got my BFP yesterday and will be heading to the lab for my betas this afternoon. MH and I have been married for 11 years and have 2 daughters age 2 & 6. This pregnancy is unexpected so we're both in shock.
I got a BFP over the weekend...we were NPNT so this is a little surprising. This will be baby #3 and i'm still adjusting to the thought of 3 kids! ek. I'm 31 and hubs is almost 38. We have a 3 year old and a 1.5 (S16) year old. We have 2 dogs and a cat. We like to do camping and hiking. And of course we love disney! We are located in Southern Cali.
Looking forward to getting to know all of you over the next 9 months!
Hi! I got my BFP on 3/4... The day I was supposed to get AF. First time being pregnant and Really excited/ hopeful. I took 3 other tests that confirmed the same.
I am 32 and DH is turning 33 next month.
I went to my PCP to get blood work done and waiting on the results. Then I need to find an OBGYN to go from there. Haven’t told anybody yet but dying to tell my sister and mom after I get these results.
Hello all! I just got my bfp this morning... hasn’t quite sunk in yet. I’m 32 and my SO is 33. We have a 4yo daughter and live in Minnesota. I was a part of D13 and enjoyed the group so I thought I’d come on back. I had an early MC before conceiving my daughter so that is always a lingering fear.
I had my iud removed in November and actively started trying in January, then decided to not try to plan so much. And BOOM. I had GD last time so I’m planning on getting a jump on dieting... not so excited about that.
I'm 39. My husband is 38. This is #2. We have a son that just turned 1 in Feb that I still breastfeed (and still wakes up at night). I actually stopped pumping at work the last week of Jan and I was pregnant within 2.5 weeks. Surprise! Due date should be 11/3. I work full time. My husband works nights and often days too. My dad babysits. I am very nervous about who will watch both babies bc I'm pretty sure my dad can't handle 2.
Hi fellow Nov18 mamas! I'm 5 days out from my BFP, coming up on 5 weeks on Friday. I was feeling a little unsure with cramping and what looked like a fainter test yesterday. BUT today, no cramps, and strong positives on the stick! So I decided to stop lurking and join in. I'm 32, DH is 33, DD 2.5 (I was in June 15 club) and the dog is 9. Praying that we all have an amazing journey together!
Hi Mommas! Got a BFP last friday, and this will be our second child. We have an almost 4 year old little girl, and extremely excited for her to be a big sister! EDD is 11/12/18.
Hello mama's! My husband and I are expecting our third child in Novemeber (due date is 11/4 but prior birth history means this one will come sometime in October). We have been together 13 years and married for 11 of those. We have a little girl that is 9 and a little boy that is 4 - so all of my children will be 5 years apart! Big gap, but it has advantages! My first OB appt is on April 3rd - it seems like a million years away! We live in Tennessee, although we are from all over the country. Look forward to getting to know you ladies over the next 9 months!
@Eveinshock I’m nervous about who will watch mine, too. Right now, I keep DD (17mo) at work with me and have since she was born. I know I can’t watch 2 at work, though. She’s already a handful all by herself!
Hi! I got my BFP Monday and retested yesterday with same results! Hoping this one sticks! This will be my second child. My first, Gemma, is 21 months. Due date is estimated at 11/13/18. Haven’t called my OB yet, planning to today!! I’m 32 and DH is 36, we live in Great Falls, Montana.
This is a very sophisticated and advanced board compared to what I’m used to, so hopefully I can get used to it!

I’m so excited to have a community to talk to!

Just wanted to say hi to the Disney lovers! desperately trying to convince DH how amazing a WDW reveal would be haha

TTC #2: Oct 2017, BFP 12/19/17, CP 12/22/17
BFP 2/20/18 - EDD 10/31/2018
Disney is one thing I look forward to every year! We have gone every year since 2011, and I think this is the first year we actually won’t be able to go. (Cue intense sobbing and grown woman tantrum) We typically go the end of October for the food and wine festival but with baby’s potential due date of 11/11.... it’s cutting it too close.... although I may be down for a “I went in to labor at Cinderella’s castle” kinda deal....just sayin
Dx: PCOS
DS1 born 11/2014
DS2 born 11/2018
3 previous losses
Rainbow baby due 12/2021 - Team Green

Oh! My EDD is 11/7. I’m 31, DH is 32, and our son will be 3 on 11/28. We also have a 14yo cockapoo, 5yo standard poodle, and recently added three fish to the family (for my son), because we needed to make things a little more hectic around here
Hi N18'ers! I guess I go here now. I got my BFP yesterday and will be heading to the lab for my betas this afternoon. MH and I have been married for 11 years and have 2 daughters age 2 & 6. This pregnancy is unexpected so we're both in shock.
Here's to a H&H 9 months for all of us
I got a BFP over the weekend...we were NPNT so this is a little surprising.
I am 32 and DH is turning 33 next month.
I went to my PCP to get blood work done and waiting on the results. Then I need to find an OBGYN to go from there. Haven’t told anybody yet but dying to tell my sister and mom after I get these results.
Happy to meet everyone!
I had my iud removed in November and actively started trying in January, then decided to not try to plan so much. And BOOM. I had GD last time so I’m planning on getting a jump on dieting... not so excited about that.
Im excited to get to know everyone
I work full time. My husband works nights and often days too. My dad babysits. I am very nervous about who will watch both babies bc I'm pretty sure my dad can't handle 2.
My first OB appt is on April 3rd - it seems like a million years away!
We live in Tennessee, although we are from all over the country. Look forward to getting to know you ladies over the next 9 months!
This is a very sophisticated and advanced board compared to what I’m used to, so hopefully I can get used to it!
Happy to meet everyone!
