When did your belly button "pop" out?

Re: When did your belly button "pop" out?

  • My first pregnancy it never really did pop out. ?This one it popped at about 20ish weeks.

  • Mine is flat, with no signs of popping at 36 weeks. There's nothing there to pop out!

  • i think it has a lot to do with your belly button type.  like i've always had an innie [sp?] and it's popped out.  it's weird and hard to wear some shirts.
  • Probably around 35 weeks.

  • never popped.. just got flat and was never as deep again..  Now it's very shallow...
  • it never did. my stomach became round and completely flat, like a ball. DH said it was very unnatural looking and i have to agree. looks like we are headed down the same path this time

nope. i also have an innie and a 2 time non-popper here. if you have an outtie, how can it pop out?

  • I thought maybe if you had a really deep one before, that the tissue would push it out?  Mine was an innie, but not very deep - so I could see it just kind of flattening out.  I guess we'll see...hasn't happened yet.
  • mine never did... just got flat, like some pp.
  • no popping.

but it did stretch out like mad.

perhaps but i am doubtful of any rhyme or reason. it's just one of those things. after all, some ppl have it not pop one time and then pop the 2nd or vice versa... our bodies are weird. maybe the baby has to kick it out :D

Agreed that there's no rhyme or reason.  I have a deep innie, and mine never popped either time.  It didn't even go flat.  Just stayed the same.

  • Mine never popped for either baby, just flattened out.
  • I didn't have much of an innie to begin with - my belly button has always just been rather shallow/flat.  It popped out when I started laughing at the maternity shoot with Monkeytree Photography.  In fact, she got a picture of my laying down laughing and when dh realized it was pushing my belly button out he is poking it trying to push it back in - sounds strange but made for a funny, cute picture.

  • with DS it never Popped.... 20 wks with this one, and still no popping.... looks to be headed down the same flat path as last time!
