Rave - I am off work for 1.5 weeks to write my thesis which means I get to stay home every day. Although it’s freezing outside it’s like a summers day in our living room with full sun. Also this morning we finally sorted out all the final testing with our new clinic - which means a day trip to London on Tuesday!
Rant - I have to knuckle down and write my thesis for the next ten days! Except I have doctor appointments nearly every day. And our day trip to London is pretty damn expensive. Last minute flights, flights fully booked due to so many flights cancelled in the UK this week (The Beast from the East), expensive tests at the clinic...

@nasah15 full sympathy for the long distance TTC stress. When I started a new job 2 years ago I travelled each week for six months. Twice during that time it looked like I would O on Thursday, which would have given us only -4, so I actually took a mid week flight back Wednesday night and then flew back out Thursday morning ridiculously early. Obviously it didn’t work. But I did feel we had given it our all. That does get mega expensive very quickly though too. And basically meant a missed night of sleep.
@mrsduddles sorry you’re going through a restructuring process - that’s really tough. I hope at least they do it quickly and professionally. The greatest stress I’ve seen is when people are left waiting to know if they’re affected for a really long time.
@maureenmce haha yes the animals and birds in our garden would make a great Pixar movie hehehehe

R/R: Friday!! Woo!! Rant: DH is wanting to do a cookout with friends tomorrow, and those friends have plans with their parents for dinner at their (friends) house. So DH wants to do lunch with them and stay for dinner (we know the parents, not weird to stay). However, I feel like we really haven't seen these friends outside of their family get togethers, and their family kind of annoys me. It's always a good 10 people plus three medium-large sized dogs running around the house. It's just too loud and I get too claustrophobic. Trying to convince DH we don't need to stay for dinner, but it's tacos...so I'm not too hopeful.

Yea...I have no idea, lol. I have songs I like, but they don't necessarily "describe" me. Maybe Dan + Shay's "19 You and Me"? It would likely be some sort of love story because that's what I like to watch, lol.

Umm...is there a song about being socially awkward and being bad at everyday interaction? If so, that one. Otherwise, I would say something like the Smiths or something that sounds like it could be on the 500 Days of Summer soundtrack. Because I just like that music and it chills me out.
CD: I am going to call it CD1. I recently stopped BCPs and while I have bled 23 of the last 30 days, this morning it is heavier, and my temp dropped dramatically, so, I am calling it AF.
WAYDTGKU:. Technically, I am benched, but I am temping this month, and am pretty sure DH and I will be bad and switch to pullout halfway through the month, and eventually just give up...
R/R: rant: the cramps are awufl. Rave, we are looking at a house tonight that meets a lot of our wants, so I am excited. Plus, I didn't weigh myself this week and some how lost 4 pounds.

holly321 ooo hope this house is The One! Yay for CD1... Mine was a little confusing too yesterday, It wasnt till early afternoon I was 100% sure it was day 1, but I called it that morning since i was pretty sure that was how it was going. Im sure NTNP is "probably" fine for you this month... there is not distinct date on a calendar when you go from not safe to be trying to DING magically safe to try... they just give a figure that generally works. I'll be temping too... part of me wonders if I will even O this month after all the IVF cycles and then several months of medically induced anovulation... I wasnt really on BCP's but it had the same effect.

R/R: its so funny im happy to be on day 2 of my cycle, but i havent had a natural cycle in probably 6 months... even my prep cycles ahead of IVF I had to do estrogen priming during the second half. Its kind of nice to be doing nothing but planning on sex with my cutie pie

@Stargazer1lily I hope your ankle feels better soon! I sprained mine the weekend before last and it's still not quite right. I got an ankle brace with side stabilizers at the pharmacy and that seems to be helping, maybe something like that would help?

R/R: Rant: My husband accidentally got me a lunch that I can't eat (due to dietary restrictions) and I didn't realize it until I brought it with me to work AND I don't have time to leave and get anything else today so I am HANGRY. He's usually super careful about stuff like that and he feels terrible but again, HANGRY. Rave: I've been getting more sleep the last few nights than I did the entire month of February!

@dragonette505 we've had a couple of warm days! I live in Missouri, it's been about 50 degrees Ferenheit the last couple of days!! I would love some more snow though!!
@fantasyflyte I don't think people think to go to the doctor before TTC unless there's something they need to be sure of, like medication. It's really not normal, but it should be!!
@maureenmce I'd consider it the spotting day, but idk what is "proper". And I've never been a huge fan of tacos, but DH is. It's been decided that we'll just join them for dinner, so tacos it is.

@meladams10 thanks, I'm glad someone else understands how obsessive it can be. I've found I'm feeling far more relaxed this month and that's helping everything.
@emmasemm that's where we're at at the moment. It's our 8th month of restructuring and no one seems to know when the next round of cuts are happening. Although they say it'll all be over before the end of April but that seems a very long time away. I hope the thesis writing is productive- having been there I am rooting for you from NZ.
@maureenmce This might be contrary to the others but I usually do count it. I know the first day of AF for me is a light spotting and a bit of cramping with full on flow and cramps on day two. I think it depends on what is usual for you and your body.

WAYDTGKU: just the good old fashioned approach this month. Having ditched charting for the month, I'm finding that I'm more relaxed and the pressure seems off which is helping. Starting to wonder if this approach might help with the TWW.
R/R: Rave: Weekend has started really well. I've been doing our meal planning for the next week and I found 'Save with Jamie' at the library. I foresee some great meals in our future.
