Planning a home birth?

Hey ladies, just looking for mommas out there that have experienced or are looking to have a home birth.
I’m a STM and had my first in hospital with an OB. This time around we are hoping for a home birth with our midwife.
I’m very excited for the experience and hoping everything goes smoothly.
For those who have had home births I’d love to hear your stories. Anything you wish you would have done differently to prepare? How did others react to your decision? Thanks mommas!
