GTKY: If you could live anywhere else in the world where would it be and why?
R/R: Sorry I’ve been a terrible Bumper - Vienna was incredible for all those that asked and I did get three days to sightsee and shop before the conference started. We finished the conference yesterday (which was also incredible) and flew to London and now we are here for 4 more nights to do some exploring and on Monday we will do a day trip up to Edinburgh as well so looking forward to the next few days but also to getting back home and into routine!
CS/Q: No chart - wishing my body would figure out wtf it wants to do! Although at this point I’d rather AF waited until I was home!
GTKY: I honestly don’t think there’s anywhere else in the world I would want to live - Canada is awesome! Most of my family is in BC and it’s a beautiful province with decent systems in place and I know that’s hard to find elsewhere!
R/R: Holiday tomorrow!! So cleaning the house and packing at the moment.
CS/Q:nope
GTKY: If you could live anywhere else in the world where would it be and why? Probably the UK, it's where i was born and its where H is from. Occasionally I toy with the idea but really love where we are.
@lokibear89 I am seriously so blessed to have the chance to go in this trip! This portion I have to pay for myself but everything up to now was paid via my work, including flights - Otherwise I likely wouldn’t have been able to afford to see this part of the world until way later in life. And it is seriously amazing here! Where do you live now?
WAYDTGKU: Today mostly just shedding my old lining to make way for a new one! Supplement list - PNV CoQ10 Iron Selenium Zinc, Vitamin B complex, baby aspirin, vitamin D3, orthomol immune, curcuma bioperin (during FP only), progesterone cream.
R/R: Well it’s CD1. I wasn’t very active during the last week as I really wasn’t sure when I Od and thus when AF was due and if it was therefore late or not. Now though I get to try out my new “menstrual cup” which arrived on Saturday. Friday I managed to solve a few more things that we need to get sorted before we can start our next IVF round, and with results expected in two weeks should be ready to start with next CD1 at the end of March. Only one more test needed in advance and that’s the karotyping. FX I can get an appointment tomorrow and that we don’t have to wait too long - as Friday we got the approval to do it locally. We have more snow here today so it’s a cosy day on the couch, DH just made his special meatballs for lunch, later I need to write more for my thesis.

@emmasemm I’m from Canada so this weather is totally fine by me! In London today it’s amazing a sunny - 3 degrees which is definitely chilly but totally manageable! Looks like tomorrow should hold out for us and then Tuesday the snow might start but that’s the day we plan to shop a bit and have a few meetings so works out pretty well. I hope you get in for your appointment and hooray for approval to do it locally - that’s way easier I would assume! Sounds like where you want to live is BC, Canada - where I’m from!
@elothair sounds like when we were in London just before Xmas - so long as you have a good coat, hat and gloves it’s picture postcard weather!

R/R: Been feeling pretty down lately, which is why I've been MIA here. I'm thinking of going to see a therapist to help me cope with IF, as I don't think I'm doing a great job of it on my own. MH is pretty anti-therapy though, so that's been frustrating to talk to him about. On the plus side, I'm getting ready to head out for a conference in a few days, so that should be fun. I'm looking forward to catching up with old friends and mentors.
CS/Q: Started temping again, but there's not much to see yet.
GTKY: If you could live anywhere else in the world where would it be and why? I'm pretty happy where I live now, but moving back to the CA central coast wouldn't be too bad.
**lurking from TWW** @lokibear89 Ohhhh, it's my husband and mines DREAM to not only visit New Zealand, but to live there. We have heard amazing things about the people there and I know how beautiful it is. Ohhh what I wouldn't give to get out of stupid Texas, the U.S. in general, and live there.
@darkstar42 I'm sorry to hear you've been feeling down. I know how you feel, seeing a therapist sounds like a great idea. It's interesting how I can get so caught up in the IF world and thoughts revolving around it, and then the rest of life seems to happen. I'm glad you have the conference to look forward to. Work has also been a wonderful distraction for me.
Month/Cycle: 9/10 CD: 12 WAYDTGKU: HIO, OPK (digital one), acupuncture (including herbs this month), charting R/R: I'm grateful that all of my IF testing came back normal, including a repeat AMH, FSH, and an HSG. But, now what do I do.. just wait it out for several more BFN months until the RE feels comfortable starting medicated cycles..? CS/Q: Has anyone else noted a difference in length of their LP-- where it used to be 13 days, and then extended to 16? GTKY: If you could live anywhere else in the world where would it be and why? London.. I live in NYC and it's amazing but the diversity and old school vibe of London is just so cool
@Whitmore1027 it's pretty lovely we live up in Auckland which is mainly beaches but just arrived today in Queenstown which is more the way everyone imagines New Zealand and I'm not gonna lie it's pretty fantastic.
@darkstar42 hugs friend. Hope you have a great time at the conference. Is your DH not keen on you going to a therapist or just going himself? Mine will not go himself, but is ok if I want to - I said in case we need to move to DE then I think I need someone professional to make sure I’m really ready for it). This TTC journey is so damn tough. You’re already a rockstar, but even rockstars need support from time to time.
@blumoon18 great news on your testing. Sorry, I don’t remember how old you are? If you do need to wait, why not double check your timing - if your LP seems to vary it might be down to sometimes taking a little longer to O from having the positive OPK (so LP would be the same) in which case keeping HIO EOD until +2 might be an idea. My naturopath says she sees a lot of people who just stop HIO one day early and then when they keep going the week after FW find success in the next few months. Also if you haven’t already, read It Starts With An Egg and see what you want to implement - at least CoQ10 doesn’t hurt anyone, also check your general vitamin levels with your PCP, and if your RE didn’t check your thyroid then check that. If you don’t have success by the time when the RE is ready to start with you, you’ve at least done the groundwork.

@elothair Vienna! You are so lucky! I'm so glad you got to do some sightseeing.
@lokibear89 I am completely envious! I have had dreams about visiting New Zealand mainly from the POV of a LOTR nerd My in-laws have gone and have said they would move there in a heartbeat if they could.
@emmasemm FX for your appointment too! What are you writing your thesis on?

@emmasemm I'm 33, but my mom had POF at 37 or so, which is why I was quick to pull the trigger on seeing an RE. I will take your advice this cycle and keep going +1 or +2 from O day. I've been using Clearblue (this is my second cycle) and it's great to know when the estrogen is rising in addition to the LH surge. I sure hope you can get some karyotyping done ASAP! I would totally make a flight to get that done if I were you, too. Is there a way to get the blood drawn locally and shipped overnight to the other country? I'm sure if it was possible, you would know by now. I hope your next IVF cycle comes very shortly!

@emmasemm I was born in Warrington, family is from liverpool. H is from Cheshire, but he has a pretty mongrel accent as he has lived all over. Where abouts are you from?

WAYDTGKU: benched this cycle due to travel
@lokibear89 Ohhhh, it's my husband and mines DREAM to not only visit New Zealand, but to live there. We have heard amazing things about the people there and I know how beautiful it is. Ohhh what I wouldn't give to get out of stupid Texas, the U.S. in general, and live there.

R/R: I'm grateful that all of my IF testing came back normal, including a repeat AMH, FSH, and an HSG.

@blumoon18 hopefully in the interim you will get a bfp, but the wait must be frustrating.

@lokibear89 I am completely envious! I have had dreams about visiting New Zealand mainly from the POV of a LOTR nerd My in-laws have gone and have said they would move there in a heartbeat if they could.
@emmasemm FX for your appointment too! What are you writing your thesis on?
@darkstar42 Take care of yourself and hopefully YH will come around. This process is all encompassing so I hope you get to relax and have fun at your conference.
