How far along today? How big is baby? 22 weeks today! Coconut, hatchet head, 1/2 doz bagels, pip boy
New/Interesting/Festering Symptoms This is my third baby... so let me tell you, things are SWOLLEN and PAINFUL After you have your kid, if you walk around too much within the first 2 weeks or so, it hurts because things are swollen. Mine is already there.

Rants/Raves Just the pain. THE PAIN! I took a bath with some Panaway EO last night, and that seemed to help. Regular Diaper Bag vs. Backpack Diaper Bag? I thought a backpack would be easier, but fell in love with a Kate Spade diaper bag yesterday. I know the backpack makes more sense with 3 kids, especially because we will constantly be running to activities and maybe not always with a stroller. But they do not seem to hold as much.
How far along today? How big is baby? 21 weeks! A baseball cap New/Interesting/Festering Symptoms My hips and lower back hurt so bad. Not new, just festering and really painful right now. Appointments/US this week Nope. None for a few weeks. Random Questions None Rants/Raves I finally got some ambition and my husband and I cleaned and went through everything in the “attic” area of our upstairs which will be babies room!!! Regular Diaper Bag vs. Backpack Diaper Bag? I have both. I love my Vera Bradley one which is just a bag, and I have a back pack one from amazon. The back pack is easier because it doesn’t fall off your arm like a bag does, but it doesn’t hold as much. I use the Vera one for full days out or if we go som edit. Bump ate my post. ewhere that requires a change or two of clothes. I use the back pack when it’s just a quicker trip. Although now that my guy is bigger (2!), I’ve just thrown a diaper and wipes in my purse. I also ALWAYS keep like 5 diapers and some wipes in my car just in case. I ran to my dads and didn’t bring a diaper bag, was there longer than expected, and DS pooped. Thank goodness for the stash of diapers.
How far along today? How big is baby? 20 weeks/a banana New/Interesting/Festering Symptoms The insomnia continues, although some nights aren’t too bad. I also have continued back, hip, and tailbone pain. Starting to feel more movements! I haven’t been able to feel them from the outside yet. Appointments/US this week I have an ultrasound every week (twins/high risk) This weeks ultrasound is Wednesday at MFM Random Questions Any tips for moving with a toddler? Rants/Raves Gotta rave on my hubby! He does housework when I’m too tired or in too much pain, even though he’s putting in long hours at work everyday. Regular Diaper Bag vs. Backpack Diaper Bag? I still haven’t decided. I had a diaper bag with my son and after a while I just started throwing a few diapers and wipes in my purse. But, with twins I’m going to have to have two changes of clothes at least. I didn’t care much for the diaper bag I had, but might like another one. I’m leaning toward a backpack though because I’ll likely have a kid on each arm and a backpack won’t slip down my arm.
How far along today? How big is baby? 19 weeks. Mango/hedge hog New/Interesting/Festering Symptoms Still pretty out of breath which was new as of last week. Also feeling more exhausted lately. Appointments/US this week No. Random Questions Nope. Rants/Raves I am dying to feel her move! I know everyone is different and 19 week may be early for some but it's driving me crazy! Kick baby kick! Also amnio was 2 Fridays ago. I'm starting to worry because I hate the waiting game! Regular Diaper Bag vs. Backpack Diaper Bag? I think I will go with back pack. I like the idea of having my free arms. Also I hate carrying a bag over my shoulder now. I can't imagine being comfortable with a huge bag flung over my arm.
I love these weekly check-ins and reading about how everyone else is doing.

New/Interesting/Festering Symptoms Heart palpitations if I've been on my feet moving around too much. Also, Saturday evening at our party I starting having some cramping. Not sure if those were BH? Or just was up and around too much. Sat down for a bit after and felt better.

Regular Diaper Bag vs. Backpack Diaper Bag? I got one with DS that is a bag with straps to become a backpack. I've never used the straps... Now I have a little pouch that I keep essentials in and throw that in my purse, but I know I'll go back to the diaper bag for the first few months with LO. It's just easier to hold everything and have it prepacked before going out.
