Had a d&c January 29 for twins who stopped developed 6 weeks 5 days (was 8 weeks when found out). Have been feeling pregnancy symptoms last week - nausea and sore boobs, but stronger than first time. Took an EPT today to see what came up and it was a slight positive. Not sure if this is left over HGC due to the fact I was pregnant with twins 5 weeks ago and I’m sure my HGC was high, or a new pregnant. Anyone have a similar situation? Any thoughts?
Re: BFP 5 weeks after D&C
I'm not sure what you're expecting from us here. I don't have glasses that can see inside your uterus to tell you if you're PG or if it's leftover from your last MC. This is the main reason why doctors track HCG back down to 0, AND why they tell you to abstain until after your first AF... so that you don't have to go through the stress of not knowing either way.
I don't have a similar situation as my 4 MCs have all been early on, had hcg tracked down to 0, AND I followed my doctor's advice when it was issued to me.
You're going to have to call your doctor to figure out this mess you're in. You may have no other options than to get betas done and see if the numbers go up or down. Sounds like you're just going to have to wait it out.
If you are PG, please just move along to your BMB.

I don't usually respond to posts like these, but you have been offered plenty of helpful advice and support that already answers this question. It is also inappropriate to start a new post like this with a title that can be triggering for women who have experienced loss or ongoing infertility issues. Please take the advice from @dpjennifer and see your doctor or move along.
1) It is against the TOU to ask if you are PG, even in a roundabout way.
2) You aren't TRYING to conceive after a loss. You've either conceived (hence BFP) or you should've been benched, in which case you really should've jumped in on our regular posts.
3) You really only posted here for YOUR two questions, and didn't even bother to note if you saw half of the responses. You have to give support to get it here.
4) This post screams more "Look at me, I totes got KU my first cycle TTCAL without even actually trying! And that's after me getting totes KU without trying the first time!" Having been on these boards for almost 3 years, I know many women who struggle to become PG, and others who have RPL which is absolutely devastating. So this feels hurtful and like you're waving your BFP in our face. You could have easily jumped into the TWW or weekly posts and gently mentioned what you've been experiencing!
We have NO way to know what's going on with your body as we don't really know much about you at all. Also, a TON of advice was given to you on your last post, most of which it seems you didn't even take.
This whole thing just rubs me the wrong way. If you had a D&C on Jan. 29th that means that you weren't medically allowed to have sex until Feb. 12 AT THE EARLIEST (assuming your doc cleared you at your two week post procedure check-up). And you said your Positive OPK was on Feb. 12. So that means you could've had sex 1 time on the day of your positive OPK and gotten PG. If so, well aren't you the luckiest SOB to have ever lived. Go to your BMB and celebrate how awesome your life is because honestly, you won the darned lottery if that's the case!
Also, if it's determined that it is just residual HCG in your system, then please jump in and participate in our group! There are great women here, and we are super supportive of each other... but you have to participate and give support to get it.
Or maybe I'm just too bitter from giving the same advice month after month to people who didn't even bother to search our boards to find the same questions answered time and again... just to have them get their magical unicorn BFP and disappear a few cycles later while I still live my depressed childless existence on these boards for life?
