thrilled that I've made it to 6 weeks but honestly not looking forward to the pregnancy as a whole.

Ive had recurrent early miscarriages all before 6 weeks and have a didelphic uterus ( double uterus) which can lead to an increase in miscarriage but also means definitely a c-section to in my future and hoping ideally to make it to 8 months.

Theoretically I could go full term but the literature I was given suggest otherwise.

my sister who has the same thing went off work at 4 months and still went into labor at 31 weeks and then my niece was in the hospital for 1 month.

Anyone else dreading the coming months and just wants to hold their baby?

I’m high risk. I’m old (will be 38), overweight, and my previous pregnancies I delivered at 27 weeks (singleton) and 33 weeks (twins). I’d be happy as long as I make it to at least 30 weeks, but if I could stay pregnant to 36 that would be amazing (no mandatory NICU time at 36 weeks).

This is my second. I’m glad to be pregnant, but I hate the first trimester. So far this one has been a lot worse. I have had severe morning sickness, a subchorionic hemorrhage, and a bad cramping due to dehydration. Now my calendar has exploded with appointments to make sure baby and I are ok. I had an ultrasound on Wednesday and will have one next Tuesday. I’m taking it easy to give baby the best chance.

Only in week 5 and miserable. Just moved to a new state last week, know no one and feel like I’m going to barf any moment. My last was high risk for being small at 20 weeks and had to go every week plus regular appts. She was born at 33w6days. Thankfully she was pretty healthy just had to eat and gain weight but spent 3 weeks in nicu. Not sure how I’m supposed to go to weekly ultrasounds and now get The progesterone shot weekly with her in tow. Hopefully I don’t go early this time bc we have no help around. Trying to find other stay at home moms in the community that do drop in care but so far no luck.

I'm high risk! Baby number one was delivered at 36 weeks due to preeclampsia! Research suggests that preeclampsia in subsequent pregnancies should be later onset/less severe, but lucky me number 2 was delivered at 29 weeks with a far more severe case & a host of other problems stemming from it.

We met with MFM & high risk obs before getting the green-light to conceive number 3. I was feeling so positive about this pregnancy until I actually became pregnant. Now I'm a hot mess of anxiety. I'll be happy with 32 weeks, thrilled at 34, and over the moon anything past 36! Dreaming of a full term vbac, odds aren't in my favor but a girl can dream

I’m high risk due to 2 genetic clotting disorders. I’m currently off of my regular blood thinner and back on daily Lovenox injections. My midwives told me after my last pregnancy that they will no longer be able to serve me so I’m super sad

My first appointment at MFM is on the 20th and I also will meet with my Hematologist that day. Luckily they talked to each and coordinated appointments. I’m hoping for at least the midwives through MFM but I guess I will see after the first appointment. I’m not happy about having to drive over an hour to appointments:(

My last pregnancy was high risk because of a septate uterus, very similar to what you have. Just wanted to share a success story that I made it full term (with some scares tbh) and have a healthy 2 year old girl! She was breech and slightly growth restricted, but otherwise perfect. I had a surgery to repair my uterus so if all goes well I won’t be high risk this time around, but wanted to share a positive story with you.

Thanks I appreciate it! Going in for my appointment on Monday. Not sure if they will do an ultrasound but if possible I would like to. The uncertainty is so hard.

They originally said that they weren't sure if I had a separate or not which I was hoping for because often they can fix or improve they but no such luck.

I’m high risk. I developed HELLP syndrome at 39 weeks with my first pregnancy. That can be recurrent in pregnancies. I also had low PAPP-A with my first pregnancy and was monitored very closely, but that’s pregnancy specific so shouldn’t be a problem this time around.

She really wanted a second baby and they/MFM had her take aspirin 81 mg once daily the whole pregnancy and she had a successful healthy second pregnancy. Hoping for a safe and healthy pregnancy for you too!

I’m glad she had a healthy second pregnancy! I was on baby aspirin for my first because of the low PAPP-A. I didn’t develop HELLP until 39 weeks 5 days and only had the liver pain as a symptom, so it was best case scenario. The chances of it coming back are lowered bc I was so late in my first pregnancy.

Me, I had a loss in 2015 at 12 weeks due to SCH and a loss last year at 19 weeks due to pprom. From what i hear its common for pprom ladies to have it in subsequent pregnancies and that terrifies me. It was so hard for us last year, I actually had to give birth to her and got to hold her and she was so perfect and alive. I just really want to get to week 40 and see my baby healthy right now. I dont have any living children so far.

I’m high risk. I have epilepsy, ADHD, and anxiety. I’ve been dreading pregnancy and it’s already kinda shaping up to be pretty hard. I want to be done already and I’m just getting started.

I’m high risk because I had a LEEP proceedure to remove precancerous cells from my cervix (caused by HPV that I’ve been living with for I swear like 15 years). Wouldn’t be an issue if I had waited the recommended 12 months to get pregnant, but I was told I couldn’t get pregnant soooo DH and I didn’t use protection and here we are! Whoops!
