Rants/Raves H is getting on my nerves. He's constantly asking for help with DS for ridiculous things. He just took him for a walk but first asked that I get him completely ready. The whole point of you taking him for a walk is so I can keep studying! Then asked that while they are out on a walk, I make DS pb&j dinner sandwich. Really?! What is so hard about making the easiest sandwich in the world?! I swear. What's going to happen when #2 gets here? Grrrr.
Will you take a babymoon? Have you ever? If you could go anywhere, where would you go and why? I don't think we will take one this time. We were fortunate enough to go to Maui for our last babymoon and it was awesome. However, this year we are trying hard to save for a house and have a lot of destination weddings happening later in the year. We do have a week-long beach trip planned in May so we are thinking of turning that into a 'babymoon'.

my only rant is towards my insurance plan being crappy and the feeling that some medical teams won’t leave us alone about additional testing (see genetic results thread!)

We’re going to Miami next week! Me, DH, and DD. This will be our first babymoon, not sure why we didn’t take one last time. We really wanted to this time since it’s winter here, I have a brother who lives there, and I’ve never been!

My MIL is relentless about finding out the sex. We’ve told her we’re not finding out (which was a lie- we found out at 10 weeks, but we’re keeping it a secret) and she still will not leave my husband alone. He’s the weak link and would slip and say something, and I think she knows that. But it’s like everyday and the fact that she has no respect for our decision is super freaking annoying. She keeps asking him about names too and we aren’t sharing. I’m also pretty sure she goes though my stuff when she watches DS on saturdays because she mentioned a name to DH and we hadn’t told anyone the name, but I do have it on a list with other names in my pregnancy book. It’s a name she would NEVER suggest because it not fugly or off the wall like EVERY OTHER NAME she’s suggested in the past. I’ve moved the book 3 times because I was thinking she was going through my stuff and I’m like 99% sure she is. Magically both my SIL and DHs grandmother asked if I’m happy about having another boy (which we haven’t told anyone) and the only common link and the snooping MIL. I’m really pissed. Like I want to confront her but I don’t want to be confrontational and she NEVER says anything to me, just DH.
Also, DS will be 2 on Friday and I have no idea how!!! I’m like almost crying just thinking about it. It’s so true that time goes by so fast!! I feel like I just brought him home yesterday and now he’s talking in sentences and knows all his colors

We kinda took a baby moon when pregnant with DS, we did a weekend at a casino spa resort. It was a nice getaway and we actually have been there before that and have been back since. So not really anything different than what we normally do, but still a little getaway.
This time, we probably will not. We went to Disney in January, but that was more of a family vacation. I’m not really interested in it because it’s more of a hassle than anything. We go places fairly often and honestly I’d rather go as a family than just my husband and I (for the most part). We’re doing an indoor waterpark in March for a late bday gift/party for DS and I’m pretty excited about that! I asctually Just bought a new swim suit!

None, although I had some spotting Sunday night. I think I'm just doing too much, not sitting/resting/taking enough breaks. Two kids will do that to you! Birthday parties, games, etc...

My brother and SIL announced their names at her shower this weekend... and they took my boy name. It was our grandfather's name, and was my boy name for DD. When I found out she was pregnant, I told them they could use it since I was done having kids. Then I found out I was pregnant, and asked them twice if they were going to use it, and she said probably not. Well, there goes that. They've never once asked us our names. Am I being over-sensitive to think that they should have given me a heads-up? She told me before that my brother wasn't even thinking that was in the running, they were sticking with names that began with a particular letter (this name does not).

Anatomy scan is next week and I'm sooooo eager to have it done with. Our last pregnancy we found out the baby died at the anatomy scan which was horrific. I have a doppler so I know she's still alive, but I am just nervous.

Yes! With DS we went to Kauai which was amazing... I would like to go back to Hawaii again, but the best time for us to go is in April and I don't really want to sit on a plane for 6 hours while I'm 28 weeks pregnant. I remember feeling really uncomfortable around that time when I was pregnant with DS. I think instead we are going to go to the Desert... not the same but it will do
