Y'all know I'm the resident baby shower control freak so this will not surprise anyone but now that our invites have gone out, I check our registries daily, multiple times a day even. I was the kid that snooped for Christmas presents.

@krashke LOL. I was a good kid and did not. But how can you NOT look at the registry?? Plus, you put everything on there, so you already know what options people have...haha, so it's not really snooping, per se..
@krashke lol I was the kid that did NOT snoop for the presents. I didn't want to ruin the surprise. However, I don't know if I'll be able to refrain from looking now. Our invites are going out this weekend so I know there's nothing gone yet....well except what my mom has bought. She told me yesterday to stay off of it now, so I assume she got something. She is appalled that you can see what people have bought you lol I'm her only child and this is my first child so she's new to this stuff. I tried explaining to her that some people need to plan and budget and buy the stuff that they don't get so it's good to have an idea of what's left. She's not buying my story. Haha. I'm torn. I would like to be surprised, but then again I'd like to know.
@bearmoons@amys614 on Amazon you can see what was purchased and by whom. Obviously because they have to order it online they have their contact information. It's great because you can track Thanks You's. We will still write things down at the shower but if things get mixed up I have that as back up. On Target you can see who purchased something if they did it online but if it was in store it just shows as an in store purchase.
Additionally, we put our monitor on both registries because it was kind of expensive and I wanted to make sure people saw it if they only checked one or the other but someone already bought it for us (we actually knew about it before it was purchased anyway because MIL told us that MH's aunts couldn't make it to the shower but they were all going to chip in to get us the monitor). So when it showed up as purchased on Amazon I removed it from Target so we wouldn't end up with two.

@krashke that's a good system you have there! I only registered at Target because I think it's just easier for my older family and my friends and coworkers are in Target 8.76 times per week. I didn't know how to balance both, was worried about duplicates and monitoring stuff. Good to know for next? time. Thats very handy for thank yous!
@krashke another reason why it's fine to look! Plus, another thing I've noticed is that a few things on my Target registry have become unavailable, so then I just add it to Amazon.
@krashke oh I was like that with my baby shower registry AND my bridal shower registry back in the day. How can you possibly not look? DH used to side eye me but whatever, its not like we didn't know what was on it anyway.

krashke - you have to look! You have to see what you've got so you can prioritize, remove less "pertinent" items so the stuff you really need looks like it is all that's left, if you have multiple registries double up or remove stuff from them. Totally not snooping *wink*
Umm anyone who registered at Babylist should know that they email you every time someone buys something. So obviously I'm looking. And on the app you can choose to see who bought what. I agree with @krashke it's a great feature for thank yous. Plus, I'm noticing that I didn't put nearly enough on there because people are buying up like 3-5 things each. If I couldn't see who bought what, I wouldn't have known that I needed to add more stuff.
My FFFC is that I didn't pick up my dogs poop on the walk today. I'm usually really good about it, but no one else in our complex seems to do it, I move in 3 days, and it's my little rebellious act against my neighbor's music (which still plays every morning).

@kfren we saw the guy walking down the stairs this morning and MH thought about saying something, but dude looked like the kinda guy who's building a bomb up there, so we're just gonna deal and be thankful that come Monday night we'll be in a house in phoenix.

My confession: I'm totally procrastinating today. I'm sooo burned out from this week, I can't do anything else. I have A TON to get done, but can't focus.
Kind of a lame confession, but I got into an argument at work today with our medical director. I spent the rest of the day fuming about it, and didn’t really get anything else done.
@Amphibious22, welcome to Phoenix! Enjoy the cool weather, because 100+ is only 30-60 days away!!
I am currently pretending not to know that the entire sleeve of girl scout cookies I have inhaled will do terrible things to my bloodsugar. I mean, technically I haven't met with the dietician to discuss my GD, soooo, I can eat what I want for now, right??
