Hope all of your appointments have gone well so far this week. I had a maternal fetal medicine appointment this morning to check how the baby was growing. The baby is 4.5 lbs and in the 34th percentile I think, so a little small, but I guess not anything to be worried about. Still I would have felt better had she been closer to the 50th percentile.
Had mine yesterday - first actual high blood pressure reading despite being on meds. I was able to get it down before I left the appointment, so I'm not too worried. Babies doing well and moving around. I just kind of obsess over symptoms and the possibilities of something as simple as ONE high blood pressure reading meaning I'm going to develop pre-e. I'm hoping to kick that medical anxiety to the curb unless it actually becomes something to worry about!

All of my babies have been around that percentile in utero/at birth and then have gone on to grow to all different sizes (my husband is 6’6”, my mom is 5’0”, and I am 5’6”, so I have one who is 99th percentile for height at 5 years old, one who is usually close to 75th percentile at almost 2, and one who is 30th percentile-ish at almost 4). Their heads were all smaller than 50th percentile in utero then literally exploded after birth - all in 75th to 98th now. All this to say, don’t stress too much about being on the small side now.

@lindsye that is comforting, thank you. It has been astonding to me, as my husband and I while average sized people have rather large heads and my sisters babies have been enormous. Thank you for passing on the info.
