Any appts this week? Had one Monday. It was fast and not eventful, good to hear that little heart beating away!
Rants/raves/questions? I'm embracing the bump today and I feel dang sexy...and I'm only half kidding
GTKY: If you got to choose, what would your super power be? oh man, that's a hard one!!! I think I'm going to go with the power to heal.
How are you feeling? Super sore everywhere. I don't know what's RLP, car accident related, sciatica, or life. Ahh the joys of being pregnant.
Any appts this week? Nope. Sad face.
Rants/raves/questions? I guess my rant would be that it's really hard sometimes to be a single mom to two little boys and figuring out where this third baby from a different dad is going to fit in. I haven't even told my kids yet because I don't know how they're going to react. It's terrifying and my mom constantly telling me how I'm ruining everyone's lives by having another baby isn't helping anything.
GTKY: If you got to choose, what would your super power be? The ability to do all of the things. I feel like I'm always treading water just to stay afloat so if I could have endless energy to do all of the things I would feel like a much more accomplished mom.

How are you feeling? - Better! I feel like I'm getting back to pre-pregnancy energy levels and the nausea only shows up once or twice a week for an hour or two
Any appts this week? Just a phone consult with my diabetes counselor. Probably another adjustment coming, I've been running a bit high
Rants/raves/questions? Rave: DH brought up a box of DS's 0-3 month clothes last night so I could go through and figure out what we need to buy and OMG! Teeny tiny little onesies and footie jammies! I forgot how tiny brand new babies are! Rant: I feel so uncomfortable in my own body right now. It's like I don't even recognize myself in the mirror. I have been minimizing any time that DH would see me without clothes and I'm avoiding the camera like the plague. Just ugh.
GTKY: If you got to choose, what would your super power be? The ability to be in two places at once. I would be able to be home with DS more and go to work. I feel like I'm missing out on so much time with him lately and by the time I get both of us home in the evening it's time for him to have dinner then we have like an hour before we start the bedtime routine. Plus winter blows so we can't go outside and play. I'm just a big ball of happy today, WAH!
@calimom2524 - oh honey I'm so sorry. What a terrible thing for her to say to you. You guys are going to create your new normal and this beautiful little baby will be a huge piece of your family. I really hope she comes around soon. And about telling your boys, you'll know when the right time is. I'm sending you all the creepy internet hugs today.

@mrsbubbles-2 I am having a hard time accepting what is happening to my body as well. Some days I embrace the bump and feel really good about it. Other days I have a hard time with it. I have struggled with my weight my whole life and I have always been super subconscious about it. Just letting go of all of that and watching my waistline grow has been a challenge.
How many weeks are you/baby's size? 13 weeks. A peach.
How are you feeling? I feel pretty dang good! I haven't really been having any issues this week at all.
Any appts this week? No not until March 6. I am getting blood drawn for the NIPT on Monday though.
Rants/raves/questions? I am not sure if this was covered in questions but when in the heck does the second trimester begin? 13 or 14 weeks? I am so confused because it seems everywhere says something different.
Whenever it is I cannot wait so I can dye my hair!!! It is so gray! It like tinsel sprouting from my scalp!
GTKY: If you got to choose, what would your super power be? Boy that is tough! I thinking being able to stop, rewind, and fast forward time would be cool.

Not at this time. Besides after several months of fighting with him DS slept in his crib all night 3 nights this week so far and made it almost all night the other two. What had us thrown off was from the day we brought him home until he was 15 months he slept in his crib every night. Think sickness and the new house had him off. Momma needs her bed back.

Rave! My daughter had her 2 year checkup at the doctor this week and she was so well behaved and cooperative. We all know toddler behavior can be totally unpredictable so I was glad they got to see the sweet girl I usually get to see

It's a toss up between teleportation or the ability to never sleep but never be tired
@mrsbubbles-2 I am feeling the same way about my body. Last pregnancy I feel like I embraced it better - maybe I'll come around once I stop feelign bloated and frumpy and have an actual bump? I was looking at some pictures of myself from the California trip and I was like meh, I won't be posting that one to any social media! I also have been eating everything in sight, so I also need to get that in check quickly.

How are you feeling? Cramping and a bit of spotting again earlier this week. The cramping has decreased and the spotting has stopped, so my OB isn't too concerned at this point. I am chalking it up to traveling, being on my feet a lot in Cali. Other than that, pretty good! I hate being at this weird point with my body though. I haven't gained any weight, but my pants don't fit, I just look frumpy and not pregnant, so I'm wearing a lot of loose shirts and leggings right now.
Any appts this week? I had my blood draw for NIPT yesterday! We weren't going to, but I'll be 35 at delivery and Dh is a few years older, so it'll put my mind at ease a bit I think. My NT is next Tuesday, but I think I'm going to cancel since it seems silly to do both. I'm already getting impatient waiting for the Panorama results though...!
Rants/raves/questions? Raves: DH rocked it while I was gone. He's such a hands on dad that I didn't have too many worries, but it makes me happy to know he could handle it all for 4-5 days. Now I feel like I owe him big though! Rants: Nothing too crazy today. Wishing I was still off work and on vacation though!
GTKY: If you got to choose, what would your super power be? Teleport. I wish I could wiggle my nose like Samantha on Bewitched and be somewhere. See my family in IL, be in California with my best friend whenever I wanted, to the beach, wherever! I hate the stress and time suck of traveling.

@lolog531 - I think last pregnancy was better for me too. We had just gotten married and I was at my lowest weight in a long time. I didn't start showing at all until I was around 18 weeks I think? This time I think I was in maternity pants before the pee stick was dry lol! (TMI joke?)
I'm so glad we can talk openly about our insecurities.

Better, but still have moments of wooziness. I just have to be careful not to eat too much, and I do pretty well.

@livinthesunnylife I'm with you! Now that my whole office knows I'm pregnant, I decided to wear one of my sweaters that emphasizes the bump today, and I felt really cute! I really wish I had several versions of the sweater, it's really comfortable, too. But I got it at a thrift store, so I can't just go get another. I'm definitely not comfortable naked, though, I'm generally trying to hide all that from DH.

I used to want invisibility, but now I think I want to control time. Especially slowing it down so I can get everything done.

Like dirt! I feel like I have been nonstop puking or on the verge of puking for 6 days straight!
Any appts this week?
Totally slept through my alarm to meet my high risk doctor and ultrasound. To be fair I had been up for almost 24 hours and tried to take an hour and a half cat nap after work. I slept through 4 alarms. Called to reschedule and now they can't get me in until March 14th. I have yet to meet with him. I feel like he is the illusive Oz behind the curtain at this point.

My 5 years has been the devil lately! I can't believe how sassy she is being. She has gotten almost everything taken away, gone to bed early, stood in the corner, and even a spanking. My goodness, where did my sweet baby go? Plus I took money out of her Disney savings to buy new curtains for my bedroom since she thought Stitch (her favorite blue man from Lilo & Stitch) needed clothes and a bow tie. So she cut up half of one of my curtains to do that. Frustrated doesn't even begin to cover it!

Mine would be to be in two or more places at one time! I feel like I miss out on so much sometimes because I work 3rd shift and have to sleep during the day. Or maybe to not even have to sleep.
@breezy1928 and @mrsbubbles-2 I totally feel you with the added pounds. It has only been 10 so far and I feel like a chunk of that is from taking my meds regularly but it is hard to watch that scale creep up and clothes not fit anymore. Hubby has always said I am beautiful and shows it all the time but I am not feeling that way lately. However my sex drive is through the roof so I just shut off the lights and leave my nighty on lol.
