I just realized it's Thursday! (FYI, I suck at coming up with GTKY questions. So, sorry if it's lame!)
How far along are you?
How are you feeling?
Any recent/upcoming appointments?
Rants/Raves?
Questions?

Re: TTGP Grad Thread 2/15
How are you feeling? Pretty good overall. My belly is feeling big and it's getting a little more difficult to find a comfortable position for sleeping. I still wake up with mild headaches but thankfully they don't last long.
Any recent/upcoming appointments? Not until 3/6 for a MFM appt. Then anatomy scan on 3/8!
Rants/Raves? I'm feeling baby girl so much the past few days and it just brightens my day!
Questions? Nope.
GTKY: What is a TV show(s) that "everyone is watching" but you've never seen? Stranger Things, This is Us, GOT just to name a few. We don't have cable anymore and I feel like I never have time to watch new shows. If it's on Netflix I might watch it. But I usually just was Friends, Gilmore Girls and stuff I've already seen before bed at night because I don't have much brain power left at the end of the day and don't want to have to pay close attention to a show lol.

How are you feeling? Really good! I could forget I was pregnant most days except the belly keeps growing.
Any recent/upcoming appointments? Next Wednesday for the anatomy scan. So excited to find out sex!
Rants/Raves? Just work has not been so fun lately...
Questions? Um? When is normal to feel baby kicks on the outside? Or for DH to feel?

How are you feeling? Good. Energy is OK...could be better
Any recent/upcoming appointments? Next wednesday is a regular checkup and blood test for spina bifida. Anatomy scan not for another few weeks.
Rants/Raves? Rave - Half day tomorrow and off on Monday! So excited to enjoy a long weekend. Rant - My half days usually end at 1, but I have a meeting schedule AT 1!!! wtf?
Questions? eh nothing right now.
GTKY: What is a TV show(s) that "everyone is watching" but you've never seen? Stranger Things. Not really into things that startle me. My husband is a huge horror junkie though so I think I disappoint him with that lol.
@Sarafuss I totally hear you on the no brain power after a long day, DH always makes fun of me for re-watching sitcoms!
@MrsMiller8588 Sorry work hasn't been fun, are you in a busy time, or is there other crap going on?
How far along are you? 17 +4
How are you feeling? Generally alright, am also having troubles with sleeping comfort. It seems as soon as I'm decently comfortable, I have to get up and pee and then the whole process has to start again.
Any recent/upcoming appointments? Anatomy scan on March 2.
Rants/Raves? meh.
Questions? Has anybody tried to put themselves out there and meet pregnant ladies in your area? Any tips on how to actually make human friends as an adult? (this is a half joke but...I'm also serious...I'm meeting up with a total stranger on the weekend and I really don't want to blow it LOL).
GTKY: What is a TV show(s) that "everyone is watching" but you've never seen? This is Us, for no reason but if it's not a British murder mystery or detective drama, I'm just not interested.
How are you feeling? Still tired all the time. Ridiculous bloat every night that makes me so uncomfortable. Also having episodes of heart racing and palpitations so I’ve been referred to the cardiologist and pulmonologist.
Any recent/upcoming appointments? Nothing important until anatomy scan on 3/6
Rants/Raves? Drove 40 mins each way today to see the pulmonologist only to be told they don’t see pregnant patients. Didn’t even know that could happen.
Questions?
GTKY: What is a TV show(s) that "everyone is watching" but you've never seen? This is Us comes to mind. I’m sure there’s more. Also not a tv show but never seen any Star Wars movies.
@Sarafuss I have the same problem with sleeping. For some reason recently my hips hurt laying on my side and of course I can’t lay on my back or belly. Just bought a body pillow but don’t think it helps much.
@MrsMiller8588 I guess it depends on the position of your placenta but I started feeling movement last week and every now and then one will be strong enough to be felt on the outside. I’m sure by the time I’m 20 weeks it will be easy for DH to feel. Haven’t tried to get him to yet because it’s too infrequent and he is impatient lol.
@canucklehead123 Welcome back and hats off to you for putting yourself out there! DH and I have been talking about joining some social groups to make some more couple friends. Making friends as an adult is hard! I guess just be yourself because you want someone who really clicks with your personality.
@nimmle hope you still get out early tomorrow!
@canucklehead123 welcome back! Work isn't super busy, but just some politics.. lots of people unhappy with big organizational changes, lots of turnover, etc. I'm still new and didn't really know what I was getting into. Trying to keep a good attitude but sometimes it still gets to me.
@safire3 that sucks about the appointment! How inconvenient!! I started feeling baby last week but so far nothing on the outside.

@MrsMiller8588 oh that's too bad. I have a friend going through something very similar - it can really take a toll on your mental health so take care of yourself. I'm unsure of how much Mat leave you're taking, but just keep telling yourself "4(ish) more months until things are no longer your problem (at least for a little while)"... this has been my work strategy as of late. It's really helping. It's not so helpful when you say it out loud to your boss...learned that the hard way...it's more of an inner mantra.
How far along? 17 weeks!
How are you feeling? Pretty ok. Appetite is back!
Any recent/upcoming appointments?mar 2 anatomy scan, blood draw tomorrow.
Rants/Raves? I'm super down about my hospital because they keep screwing things up. I am homesick for my old crunchy hospital, and just gate that my experience leads me to want a larger hospital with a nicu.
Questions?
GTKY: What is a TV show(s) that "everyone is watching" but you've never seen? This is us!
How are you feeling? Pretty good. Have energy, appetite but battling some seasonal headaches.
Any recent/upcoming appointments? March 1st. Did the Spina Bifida blood work this past Tuesday so waiting on those results.
Rants/Raves? It’s finally warm enough that i can start wearing dresses a d cardigans again! Finally! I was tired of rotating the same 3 pairs of ponte pants for work.
Questions? I’m wondering when I’ll start to feel movement. I thought i felt something once or twice (a rolling/tumbling sensation) and then more like pinches/pokes. Nothing much since. Not sure if it’s still too early since I’m a FTM.
GTKY: honestly, it was GoT. I was the only one who could not participate in conversations so i finally am watching it. Not much of a TV person , id rather read a book or good DIY blog.
@MrsMiller8588 ik so excited you will be finding out the gender so soon!! Will you find out at appt or have them write it down for you so you can do something special later on?
@nimmle hey! I’m jealous of your long weekend! Are you doing anything?
@canucklehead123 welconr back!! I’m with you on the sleep/pee routine. The worst for me is early morning. I do t want to get up when i have an extra hour or so in bed. I’ve also thought of meeting new friends too. I have a few that live in town but the kid ages are different. My hospital i will be delivering at offers prenatal yoga twice a week. I’m planning on going next week. You should see if you have something like that as well!
@safire3 thwts scary about the racing heart and palpitations. Could it be stress or anxiety? I had symptoms like that a few years ago, nothing clinically wrong but the determined it was work related stress. I leardened a few breathing/relaxation techniques if it happened again and they worked!
@smashjam woohoo to your appetite being back! You need to watch This Is Us! That’s how i get my weekly tears out.
For our "reveal" we are having the Dr or tech write it on a card my friend made for me. We will open in when we get home. Later that night we are getting together with our family and I will give DH a present of either boy or girl baby outfit (It's his bday) so that's how our family will find out! DH didn't want to be surprised in front of everyone because he's worried he will cry.
