I need lots of doubling prayers!

I had my hcg's done yesterday at 17-18 dpo and they were 290!  The nurse didn't seem affected by them and just said do them again tomorrow at the same time.  I said don't you think that is low and she said "honey I have seen them as low as 50 at this time and everything is fine....you just want to see them double tomorrow".  I am SOOO sick and all I can do is think of miscarring again.  Please pray for us!

    Try not to worry. ?At this point, doubling is all that matters. ?A single number says nothing about the viability of your pregnancy. ?

    My advice is to grab a couple of chick flicks, put your feet up and make your DH spoil you with a nice homemade dinner.

    Thats what I'd do:)?

    I am in the same boat as you!  The nurse at the docs office told me that as long as its above 5 its a good thing right now....unfortunately all we can do is wait and hope for good numbers tomorrow!  Crossing my fingers and sending doubling dust our way!

    Sending lots of doubling dust your way!  My 1st beta was 16 at 12-14 days post ovulation.  So that was very low.   I thought for sure my number wouldn't double but 4 days later it was 79 and then 8 days later, it's at 700.  I think they are more concerned about doubling then they are what the initial level is.  I think your number sounds great!  Good luck!  I know how stressful it is; I'm going through that right now!
