R/R: Nothing to rant about. So happy to be in my first tww since October. FF moved my CH to where I thought they should be, so all is well. Now let's hope I stay sane!

R/R: Rant: My electric blanket broke last night!

It was just my side of the bed that wasn't working though so MH let me sleep on his side so I could stay warm. I guess we'll be buying a new one soon. Rave: Hmm. I'm not feeling particularly rave-y today.

GTKY: We don't really do much for Valentine's day, but if I had to choose a gift for myself, it would be swedish fish! MH loves dark chocolate so that's what I would get him.

Testing: My horoscope this week said I would have something revealed on Valentines day so I should totally test then right?? No but I really want to try to wait until at least the weekend.

R/R: Rant: The TWW is hard enough as it is, nevermind having MH ask me "how are baby things going?" Rave: I sold some more wedding goodies, so if all goes well with my two meetings tonight then I will have most of it gone and just have little things left!

GTKY: What is your favourite thing to get or give on Valentines Day? We don't really so Valentine's day. I am happy with a card and a small thing of candy. I usually do the same for MH.

R/R: I decided to sleep in and go to work late this morning, so that was nice. I do have to get my butt over there for a meeting with a student in an hour though, and I am not looking forward to this meeting. I agreed to work with this student on a research project, and the student is NOT holding up their end of the agreement at all. I need to be more selective in who I work with!

CS/Q: Nope

GTKY: What is your favourite thing to get or give on Valentines Day? MH and I don't celebrat Valentine's. I usually buy chocolate on sale the next day.

R/R: Rant: Is it Friday yet this week is just dragging on at work. Rave: No boss in the office today!

GTKY: What is your favorite thing to get or give on Valentines Day? The last few years my husband has sent shari's berries to the office so I am hoping he sends them again this year. He once tried to send flowers but it ended up being a mess. They arrived at the end of the day, they had obviously not been cut or trimmed and instead of a dozen there were only 11 and a balloon. He was so pissed off he actually waited on hold for over an hour to complain to 1-800 flowers. Photo in the spoiler because I don't think my explanation does it justice. I ended up throwing away half the green and spending over 30 minutes to make it decent. Honestly my favorite flowers are the $5 ones from the grocery store.

R/R: No real rant. Just trying to keep positive. My fiance isn't the most sexual of men so it can be difficult to come up with ways to get him in the mood other than lingerie. Any tips would be appreciated.

CS/Q:

GTKY: I do love getting flowers. My fiance tends to buy something pretty unusual which I like. I love to give him something he has talked about wanting recently. It makes me feel good when I see his reaction.

Month/Cycle: 3rd treatment cycle

Cycle Day/DPO: 17/1

Timing: -5, -3, IUI on 0 and on 0 on our own

Typical LP length: varies with treatment

Testing: WFAF. I don't think I will do the beta either this time.

R/R: I feel a little down about our timing. We've never gotten anything beyond "Good" and we made a considerable effort this time even. I'm hopeful though because we've done better than we have since trying with communication and making the effort in the intimacy department. So if this cycle doesn't work, at least we have grown and have the opportunity to take that into the next. It's not like I can tell MH that we still had only good timing even with all of the extra effort we made.

We did end up getting a 31M sample which the NP said is incredible. He's all excited about that. I didn't have the heart to tell him that we got 28 last time it didn't work and also that more doesn't mean we get a higher chance than someone who had a smaller sample. The Nurse Practitioner looked at us when the procedure was done and said, "Have intercourse tonight and tomorrow morning". MH looked at me when we left and was like, "Is she freaking serious? Who has sex that close together? What planet does she live on?"

I'm trying very hard to be optimistic about this. This moment right now is hard.

GTKY: What is your favourite thing to get or give on Valentines Day? I'm not really a holiday person or a forced merriment type of girl, but this year, I did get some cologne for MH as well as I got some lingerie that he will like.

R/R: i dont know whats up with AF. Ive never had such a long cycle. Longest before this was exactly a year ago, 38 days. Had some pink watery discharge after BD last night and really expected AF to show up today but nothing. Rave: going to miami tom. Sunny warm days here i come! Although would have loved to have gone after AF was done and gone but oh well....

Testing: trying not to test until 2/21 and only if AF doesn't make an appearance.

R/R: Rant: it's insanely humid (100% humidity) here and I haven't slept in 3 days for more than a couple hours at a time. Mood swings are making me think I should test although I know it's too early and I need to calm the farm. Rave: just bought some amazing carbon fiber knitting needles from overseas and I'm having a blast playing with them. About to start a beanie but waiting for my Valentines Day present from DH (see below)

GTKY: What is your favourite thing to get or give on Valentines Day? I love doing the quirky gifts. This year DH's ordered some Harry Potter stitch markers for my knitting from etsy and I got him a handcrafted dice box for his DnD dice set. We really suck at surprises though so we told each other ages ago what we're giving. He has DnD on Thursday just so he can use his new box.

R/R: Hot humid and there is supposed to be another storm next week. Also have a cold which has given me a headache, so feeling just great today. On the bright side I went through all the charting rubbish with my DH last night and he wasn't a total arse and actually listened to me.

CS/Q: Temps staying high for now.

GTKY: What is your favourite thing to get or give on Valentines Day? Don't celebrate it, but forgot about pancake tuesday so we might do that for dinner tonight (its Wednesday here)

@darkstar42 What is it you do if you don't mind me asking. I deffo don't miss working on projects with others from my Uni days. THere was always one in every group that did nothing.

@meri-mac Can't say I have been particularly romantic lately, I mainly just tell him when we are doing it. And then continue to do it after O'ing so he doesnt think I am using him for his body

In all seriousness I am pretty boring and just start making out with him.

@offtoneverland I don't know that I can live without my bed heater anymore... My husband's not even warm enough. Hope you can replace it ASAP!

R/R: Rant: My husband and I do a bunch of random jobs for work (property managers/assistants/nannies, etc), and tomorrow HAPPENS to be a day my boss has his children, and so we have to make their Valentine's dinner. We'll do our thing on Thursday, I guess, but it is what it is. Not a big deal, I know, but I didn't realize until the other day, and had to re-schedule everything. Rave: I volunteer at a cat/dog rescue, and convinced my boss to adopt a cat from my rescue, which is really exciting!

CS/Q:

GTKY: What is your favourite thing to get or give on Valentines Day? My husband takes me out to a fancy restaurant every year! And he never chooses wrong, since I make the reservation!

R/R: Rant: As I get closer to testing time, I keep analyzing every little symptom: the abdominal pressure, nausea, the frequent bathroom runs. Each month I perceive symptoms and then AF shows up, it is so hard. I'm trying not to get my hopes up, just in case, but it is hard. I'm afraid of another BFN.

Rave: I get to leave work early today and I have Monday off. Video games, here I come.
