I think the constant use of the memories feature on Facebook is annoying. There's a girl on my friends list who uses it to post old baby pictures of her son seriously almost every single day. Like if I wanted to see all these updates I would just look at your old albums. So I unfollowed her. That feature can be cute if it's done every once in a while (like on a birthday or something) but if it's SUPER frequent it just annoys me.

Black licorice is delicious.

I don't like getting cut flowers from H. I prefer potted plants. Keep the dozen roses, I'll take the orchid.

This one is prompted by a bridal shower I attended this past weekend - people going on and on and on about having sex at a bridal shower is annoying and distasteful. It's also dumb since in 99% of cases the couple has already banged anyways. Seriously at this shower a bunch of the older ladies were crowing about it and the groom to bes young kids were RIGHT THERE. So gross. Poor kids.

@antoto +1 for hating people overusing the memories feature on FB. Also, I've never been to a bridal shower where sex has been a topic. Nope, no thanks. That is just weird unless everyone is super close best friends.

@antoto not trying to be a buzzkill, but I've read that it's best to not overdo the (real) licorice intake during pregnancy. I'm sure it's fine in moderation!

Yeah even when not pregnant it's best to keep the intake moderate. Something about cancer? Or something? I should probably Google it but I just don't wanna.

@antoto Yes to all your UOs! The flowers thing always feels weird because you have to kill them to give them. Plus indoor plants, especially orchids, are awesome.

My UO: If you go through a shitty experience, please don't ever say you can "only" relate to other people who have gone through that same exact shitty experience. There are lots of shitty experiences people can have. Not having the same one as you doesn't make a person shallow. The onus is on YOU to use your shitty experience to help shape who you are as a person, and to relate to other people who have gone through shitty experiences that you may have not experienced. Don't put the onus on everyone else. They're busy dealing with their own stuff--and just because it is different from yours doesn't make their stuff easier or less worthy of sympathy.

Re flowers: honestly I’m going to kill them either way so 100% give me the pretty bouquet that I don’t have to water.

Uh oh! I use the memories feature/Timehop a couple times a week. Don’t friend me! Hahaha A lot of times it’s because I add a comparison photo as well though.

The thing with timehop is that it reminds me of the people I don't hang out with anymore and it either makes me sad because I miss them or cringe because I can't believe we were friends. LOL. Also a reminder that I was dumb and 21, too. I'd rather be on my 30-something-year-old high horse.

UO: Please, please, PLEASE don't tell me I look good/ I'm pretty for a)36 weeks or b) a black girl. I know either of these don't bother most folks, but my hormones are on 10 right now! Both statements will get you cut this late in my pregnancy. They just feel like backhanded compliments to me.

If you update your FB multiple times a day sharing what your watching, checking in to all the locations and giving my play by play on your day, I'll hide you. FB isn't AIM circa 2001.

@cford08 those comments are 100% unacceptable, and anyone who says that should be punched. I would've sent money to bail you out of jail.

Not nearly on the same scale, but when I went from longer hair to a pixie cut, I got a lot of comments like, "most women can't pull off that haircut, but it looks good on you." ....like why do you feel the need to insult tons of women as you're trying to give me a "compliment"? People are stupid.
