How many weeks are you/baby's size?  12 weeks today. Baby is the size of a small macaron.

How are you feeling? I feel fine. I walked a 5k yesterday while my husband raced and felt awesome.

Any appts this week? It's a big week and I'm so glad its here. My NT scan and genetic counseling session are this afternoon and our first appointment with the OB is tomorrow.

Rants/raves/questions? I live in Boston and happy that the Eagles won last night. I'm not the most popular girl in the office today.

GTKY: Will you be watching the Olympics? What events are you looking forward to? I'm sure we will watch some of the events but figure skating is the only thing I'm really interested in and that is always on late.

13 weeks (HELLO 2nd tri!), baby is the size of a lemon or a clownfish
How are you feeling?
Feeling just okay. Still haven't been able to stomach much protein, but I am back to my starting weight, which is good.
Any appts this week?
I have to wait 2 whole weeks for my next appt. Really hoping that the SCH is gone and I can get off pelvic rest!
Rants/raves/questions?
I've been wearing 100% maternity clothes since we announced. I highly recommend - it's fantastic. Also, the Isabel ruched maternity tanks from Target are life right now. I wear one every single day.

Unrelated - I weirdly always want music on all of a sudden. Not sure how it could be pregnancy-related, but it's kind of strange and sudden. I've always been really into music, but not quite like this.

Heck yes! I love watching figure skating, hockey, and curling. We DVR everything. DS was ~8 months old for the last summer Olympics, and he went through a phase where the only thing that could get him back to sleep if he woke up MOTN was watching the opening ceremony.

How are you feeling? Feeling a little better so far this week than last. Hoping the MS will start going away soon.

GTKY: Will you be watching the Olympics? What events are you looking forward to? Not unless I go somewhere to watch it. We aren't tv people so we never got it hooked up at our new house. I do enjoy watching Figure Skating though. It's so lovely.

How are you feeling? Boobs are extra sore all of a sudden, and much more discharge.

Rants/raves/questions? Is it normal for boobs to get so sore at this point? I feel like most would have had that happen already

GTKY: Will you be watching the Olympics? What events are you looking forward to? Yes for sure! We love everything about the olympics. I’m excited to see what songs the skaters use now that they can have lyrics. And curling for some reason. I just get so patriotic which is funny because it’s not me. But we will def be wearing lots of red white and blue lol

14, nectarine! Hello, second trimester!

How are you feeling?
I felt horrible last week, but this weekend has been better. I'm really hoping I've turned a corner, but only cautiously optimistic.

Any appts this week?
Nope. I think all of my appts are pretty uneventful now anyway until 20 weeks. Just a doppler and then bye.

Rants/raves/questions?
The negative humidity here is causing me all sorts of sinus hell. Dry, cracked, bleeding... yuck. I've started coaching our derby juniors, and refereeing more regularly, so I'm feeling more connected even if I'm not able to compete for a while. When can the fetus hear me? I haven't been talking to it yet, but I feel like maybe I should make more of an effort to bond during the pregnancy. I feel like I have time, and it's still early, but I can see it going by quickly.

GTKY: Will you be watching the Olympics? What events are you looking forward to?
I am a crazy person when it comes to the Olympics. I already have a series recording set up so I won't miss anything. It will be on roughly 24 hours a day starting Weds night, even if only in the background. My family just accepts this and I get to hog the main TV and most of the tuners every two years. I don't know if they really enjoy it, but they go along with it, and never complain.

I don't have favorite events, though there are a couple I am maybe less interested in. I think Winter has a pretty solid lineup, though. I generally prefer the morning broadcasts with the better in depth announcers. The prime time coverage is always AWFUL. I don't mind a heart warming human interest story, but the way they cut out 90% of an event is criminal. In Rio, for instance, during the gymnastics coverage, no country other than the US was shown competing, and they didn't even bother to show any scores. The announcers talked about how "great" "wonderful" and "amazing" all of the US athletes were (duh) but didn't explain where deductions were coming from. It seems that the prime time viewer is treated like a very slow child, rather than a sports fan. Yuck. Diving and crew, on the other hand, were covered during the mornings on cable channels, presented start-to-finish, and covered by former competitors that really went in to technique, and how the judging is done. Much better!

I clearly have too many opinions on the Olympics.

How are you feeling?
MS is a little better now that I have some better medicine. I like being able to get off the couch! But I'm still having a hard time shopping for food or going in the kitchen.

I'm ready for winter to be over. My 6yo was sick last week. My 4yo is sick now. And I think my 15mo will be getting it soon.

How are you feeling? Pretty good! Still some residual MS here and there but it has definitely decreased in frequency and severity.

Any appts this week? NT scan on Friday (make up from last week - the US tech was sick). Can't wait to see Baby again!

Rants/raves/questions? I told my bosses/coworkers in my office on Friday and everyone was SO nice and supportive. Now I just have to tell my Atlanta bosses, hopefully their reaction will be the same.

GTKY: Will you be watching the Olympics? What events are you looking forward to? I love love love Summer Olympics but can't get into Winter as much. I am sure we will watch the Opening Ceremony and a couple other things but it isn't must-see TV for me.

How many weeks are you/baby's size? 14 Weeks!!!! Peach, which is actually what I had for breakfast.

How are you feeling? Really good aside from the lasting effects from the general/cerclage surgery.

Any appts this week? Nope. My OB won't see me until after the MFM release me in the next 1-2 weeks.

Rants/raves/questions? E at 14.5 months, this morning told dad 'Thank you, Daddy'. Which is wonderful that she was polite, but she shouldn't be that advanced yet.

How many weeks are you/baby's size? 12 weeks. Size of a jelly doughnut hole.

How are you feeling? I feel so much better, but the bump wasnt lying about headaches starting up. The minute my Ms mostly went away, the headaches began.

Any appts this week? Nope. Just waiting to hear the results of our NT scan from last week.

Rants/raves/questions? I just want to cold weather to go away. I need to move somewhere warm ASAP.

I am finally feeling better! I can get through almost the whole day without feeling nauseous! Nighttime has always been my worst but I’m so glad I feel better during the day

DD started a parent child class yesterday and DH took her. She did super well and I'm still jealous that I couldn't be there for it. Apparently, she was making all sorts of new friends and wouldn't sit still the entire time. This is her first big interaction with other children as my mom or DH watch her during the day. I'm glad she had a wonderful time and is a little social butterfly.
Joining the skin looks like dog sh*t club. No acne but the redness won't stop and it's super flaky. If I use exfoliator (sp?) to get rid of the flakes, the redness gets so much worse. It's impossible to conceal without a pound of makeup at this point. Yuck.

Nah, I'm more of a Netflix gal instead of live TV. Currently watching Altered Carbon, which is awesome so far.

@hfooter I stayed up past by bedtime watching another episode, it's so good! I have a huge crush on the actor that plays Kovach (sp?). He was in The Killing, which is also amazing. Have you watched that one?

@7425cait It's a sci-fi series about a guy who was brought back to life 250 years after he died to help someone solve a crime. It's very interesting with lots of different characters. Definitely worth a watch!

Sorry I am late! I was waiting until my 12 week appointment today to make sure all is still good under the hood!

How many weeks are you/baby's size?  12 weeks. Baby is the size of a plum.

How are you feeling? Pretty good. Still have some nausea here and there. Also my digestive system always hates pregnancy so that is happening like usual. I am getting over a cold too!

Any appts this week? First OB appointment today. They could not find a heartbeat with the doppler so my PGAL brain freaked a bit. They brought out the tiny US machine and I got to see the baby swimming and saw the flicker of a heartbeat and was told all looks good!

Rants/raves/questions? Why must all good cold drugs be banned during pregnancy?!?!

GTKY: Will you be watching the Olympics? What events are you looking forward to?  I love the Olympics! I cannot wait to binge on them for the next 2 weeks. I dated a guy who was an Olympic qualifier curler in college so that is still my favorite to watch.
